Well after a pretty stressful weekend (and one in which i relaxed the diet to include two diet cokes) i can say my skin isn't looking too bad apart from one nasty spot near my nose. Incidently, this was an old spot that was healing nicely up until the first night i decided to have a diet coke. People will say that a fizzy drink cant react that quickly and that the pimple is due to something else, but i view it as an almighty coincidence if that is the case.
Have increased my Capyrilic acid supplements to the maximum allowed dose and i'm not feeling any die off effects still. My tongue is worryingly pale though and there's a funny taste in my mouth a lot of the time.
Apart from an increase in my supplements, i'm going to try and cut down on all grains except quinoa and organic wholegrain puffed brown rice. I know i'm intolerant to gluten so it seems the sensible thing to do.
At the end of March i will do an evaluation of this diet and see how effective it has been.
