Won my first battle

So after 2 months of battling my insurance company for prior authorization, I am finally actually beginning accutane.

they made me take an additional antibiotic before giving me authorization. then they lost the form. then my pregnancy test was outdated, then they wanted to charge me far more than they had originally quoted- 15.00 will now be 350.00. fuck.

I did complain enough to get them to make the first payment only 15.00 HAHA!

I am going to be adding my mother's insurance (thanks obama!) so hopefully i will only be paying 100.00 or less for the next 5 months.

Today: I have one large cyst on my cheek, that i have been struggling with for almost a month. It deflates, then reflates.

I also have about five smaller pimples on my hairline, chin, and upper lip.

I have a breakout on my scalp- painful and gross.

I have blackheads, and little cystic white heads on and around my nose.

I have been using eucerin mixed with vitamin e oil and a little dr.bronner's lavender soap( for fragrance) as a moisturizer. since i have had to wait on the accutane, my skin has gotten pretty smooth :) i will be sad to see that go

I use cetaphil moisturizing cream on my face daily

i have a neosporin, aquaphor, chapstick, and terralips chapsticks in my bag at all times.

i use giovanni pure organic tech. hair care shampoo, I have been using the cleansing kind, but i bought the deep conditioner today for future use.

I flat iron my bangs, so i also have morrocan oil ready for deep moisture when i need it.

I use burts bees producs on my feet

I live in fear of the initial breakout, and my derm has assured me that its a1% chance, but i think she is full of it.

wish me luck,
