Not really done anything like this 'blogging' lark before, but i have read alot of other peoples blog's and it has given to alot of inspiration and the amount of feed back about acne treatments and side effects have been excellent.
I'll start off with who i am;
I'm liam im 21 and from manchester, england, and i've had moderate acne for about -6 years now on and off but has got worse the past 6 months so i have been put on isotretinoin.... i've had numerous tablets and creams which either make my skin produce more oil or just dont work what so ever so im hoping this will finally end my acne for good! I used to go on the sunbeds to get rid of y acne but that isnt the best thing for your skin so i did in the end stop as i didnt want to look like a leather handbag atan early age, i have a pretty good skin routine using dermalogica cleansing and toning products and a regular mouistrising routine which did help my acne keep down to a minimum, but still di dnothing for the excess oil my body produces . So I'm hoping these tablets which the dermatologist said will 'stop 98% of your oil glands producing oil' hopefully do the trick, but i have been told of the awful side effects that i have to endure to get to the goal i am aiming for and im willing to do it aslong as it means clear skin!
I started yesterday on 40mg a day for the next 4 weeks then i have to up to 60mg a day, so i will just keep everyone posted who ever cares to read on how im doing and what side effects i get/ dont get and hope i can be of any help to anyone who like me chose to read these before deciding if it was the right choice to proceed on them.
off to the gym now bye.
