Diane 35!

WARNING: I have written waaaay too much, haha, but it all has some relevance, so bare with me! :)

Before I start, I should mention that I am taking the generic version of Diane 35, which is a lot cheaper, but works exactly the same. It is called Estelle. The cost for Diane 35 was $60, but Estelle was only $20! The reason I put Diane 35, and will use the name is because that is the common name, so hopefully more people will find this blog and draw some information or help from it.

Hello everyone! :D

I've decided to start this log so I can share my expirence with Diane 35. I know that before I decided to go on Diane 35 I religiously researched it on the internet. If you have any questions, ask away! But I don't mind if people just want to read it.

I know that through my research I found that most people experienced an initial breakout, nausea and headaches, and that results did not start showing till 3 months. Also, what i am still worrying about, is that when I stop the pill my acne will return, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

History, type of acne, age:

Before I begin I should mention that I am 16 years old, I believe I suffer from horomal acne, as I got it when i was around 12, and get a breakout before every period. I have moderate acne, where it is not HORRIFIC, but it is certainly noticeable. No, I am not one of the people who gets 2 pimples a week and says I have bad acne. I have pimples and scars on my face that have been there for as long as I can remember, and I usually get round 5 new ones a day on top of the existing ones. (pleas excuse the following rant) I'M OVER HAVING ACNE. I have had it for four years and I'm sooooooooooo sick of it, how come some people just never get it, but others get cursed with it? grrr!

I have tried ALLLLLLLLL over the counter products (even proactiv, and it made no difference at all). I want to share with you all that I used to wash my face twice a day, but the past two years I have washed it only at night with Neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser, and washed it just with water in the morning. This has also improved my acne. Remember, LESS IS MORE!

Anyway, I'm going to shut up now cos I have written more then what a lot of people would want to read, so sorry! haha

Diane 35, Day 5

I have only been on the pill for 5 days, so im not sure how handy this will be, but I will say so far, I have felt perfectly fine! No nausea, headaches, or bloating. I was really scared I was going to throw up or feel sick, but I feel great! I have experienced no initial breakout. YAY! However, I don't know if I am yet to get one, I hope I don't!

Oh, lately I have being trying to eat a bit better (more fruit and veges), I have cut milk from my diet, and now I drink soy milk.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY.... green tea! I drink 3 cups a day, and have been for about a week and a half. I noticed a difference right away, and as of now my skin is looking the best it has in a long time, hopefully its also Diane 35. If you want to drink green tea, make sure you buy decaffinated tea bags, as 3 cups a day is a lot of caffine to drink, not good for you or your acne.

So, this has been a damn long post haha, sorry about that, so to make it short if you guys just skimmed over it (i would have haha)

-So far no initial breakout

-No nausea, headaches, feel normal

-Along with eating a bit better and green tea, skin LOOKS good!, but nowhere near perfect.

I hope I will help some people with their own journeys with Diane 35. I really really can't wait to see if this works. I will report back in a few days! :D
