For those who haven't read my blog...I have sensitive skin and almost all makeup causes breakouts and freakouts. So I've pretty much used every brand. When I first started using makeup it was:
#1: Cover Girl foundation clean makeup with pressed powder.
( Pros: Lightweight and good color match, dries up acne.
(Cons: It didn't cause me to break out at first but it started to make my skin flakey and dry around my nose. It seemed to dry up pimples, but more and more would start popping up everywhere else. So I stopped using it and moved on...
#2: Dream Matte Mousse Makeup by Maybelline.
(Pros: This makeup was very nice to the touch, very silky and blends well.
(Cons: Too greasy and makes my face feel like it has pancake batter on it after an hour or so. Creases badly. Causes those painful deep acne spots on cheeks. You know what I'm talking about, ugh. moving on...
#3: Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid Foundation and mineral power powder.
(pros: Lightweight, blends well and has light coverage. Color matches well.
(cons: A little drying but not bad. Causes blackheads and small whiteheads. Moving on...on...
#4: L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup.
(pros: Lightweight and blends well.
(Cons: Rubs off easily, creases and causes breakouts! UGHHHHHHH!!!!!
#5: Revlon custom creations with color dial foundation.
(Pros: Great coverage, velvety texture. Color matchs great, Stays on all day.
(Cons: No cons except for the fact that it caused yucky blackheads all over my cheeks and a few zits. I really wish I could have continued with this makeup, but alas...moving on again!
#7: CoverGirl true blend mineral foundation powder.
(Pros: Doesn't have as many chemicals as most foundations. Gives a nice glow.
(Cons: Doesn't cover great, wears off and irritates my skin.
#8: SMMbeauty.com Smokey Mountain Minerals powder foundation and flawless veil.
(pros: Lovely texture, goes on smooth and covers wonderfully. Can be mixed with favorite face lotion for a liquid foundation. Stays on all day and doesn't cause breakouts or irritation.
(cons: Creases a little under the eyes.
#9: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye concealer.
(Pros: Great coverage, conceals dark circles. Good for hiding blemishes. A life saver for emergency touch ups to keep in my purse. Doesn't irritate or cause blemishes.
So there they are!!! I hope this helps you. I dont think anyone really reads these. If you do, please leave a comment. Thanks!!!
