It sounds like you really have to go to a dermatologist. Tell your mom and stepdad you want to go. Have you ever been to see one? What did they tell you?For those big monsters, cortisone injections are probably the way to go. They hurt like a mother, but the relief is hours away.Keep going with the ProActive... have you tried the Regimen, or are you doing the ProActive first?

I have never tried and over the counter regimen so Proactive is my first, but I have been to the Dermatologist 3 times. All three times my acne was classified as severe cystic acne. My acne used to be really really bad and now it isn't as bad, but still way worse than others. The first time I went I was put on .1% Differin cream with a bleach based skin cleaner. The bleach stuff was heavy duty and was meant to stop the cysts from forming. It worked for a little while but the stuff came back. Then I went again so they bumped me up to .3% Differin and took the bleach stuff out. The Differin helps with the small to medium stuff, but the cysts stayed. The third time I went they put on something entirely different. It was a wash that resembled Cetaphil and then a heavy duty cream. That helped with existing pimples but did almost nothing to stop new ones from forming. So far almost $500 has been spent with the dermatologist and I am beginning to think my face isn't gonna be clear until I outgrow this problem.
