Huge Pimple Day 3

typical kid

So this is now Wednesday and the 3rd day I have gone to school with people making comments of shock at my pimple. I took some pictures of it so you can see what it is. I now have another pimple in between my eyes that is about 1 centimeter in size and another similar next to my nose on the right side of my face. I am surprised that I am breaking out again since the huge pimple is still there. I have been breaking out constantly for about 1 month now. I just took eggs, cheese, and butter out of my diet to help the breakouts and I exercise regularly and clean thoroughly. After the picture is approved I would like to see opinions on it. Be honest but not cruel for I have been hearing it every day at school about my acne. I am beginning to think of myself as a monster with this SHTUFF on my god forsaken face.

I even have mild to moderate back acne scarring. I am getting so fed up with this acne that I don't know what to do. I refuse to show most girls my face in fear of an obvious response. The proactive is honestly helping my skin as the pimples are significantly smaller than before. Maybe when I move up to 2 uses per day I will see better results. Sorry for the long post but this is Proactive Day 5.

It sounds like you really have to go to a dermatologist. Tell your mom and stepdad you want to go. Have you ever been to see one? What did they tell you?For those big monsters, cortisone injections are probably the way to go. They hurt like a mother, but the relief is hours away.Keep going with the ProActive... have you tried the Regimen, or are you doing the ProActive first?

I have never tried and over the counter regimen so Proactive is my first, but I have been to the Dermatologist 3 times. All three times my acne was classified as severe cystic acne. My acne used to be really really bad and now it isn't as bad, but still way worse than others. The first time I went I was put on .1% Differin cream with a bleach based skin cleaner. The bleach stuff was heavy duty and was meant to stop the cysts from forming. It worked for a little while but the stuff came back. Then I went again so they bumped me up to .3% Differin and took the bleach stuff out. The Differin helps with the small to medium stuff, but the cysts stayed. The third time I went they put on something entirely different. It was a wash that resembled Cetaphil and then a heavy duty cream. That helped with existing pimples but did almost nothing to stop new ones from forming. So far almost $500 has been spent with the dermatologist and I am beginning to think my face isn't gonna be clear until I outgrow this problem.

Time may be all you need, then. I know a guy who had ridiculous cystic acne all over his back and chest - a big dude who worked out all the time, the way you describe yourself. All of it disappeared by the time he was 25. It may just be hormones.Good luck! I hope the ProActive gives you some relief while you wait to "outgrow" it.
