As mentioned earlier, I added a peeling mask (Professional's - the brand name I think) to my daily regimen and so far, it's breaking me out with small whiteheads and pimples on my cheeks and along my jawlines. Aside from such 'purging effect', my skin is EXTREMELY soft! I don't think I felt this kinda skin texture on my skin since I was a child. I'm not sure if this mask is going to have any adverse effect on my skin in the long run, but at least there is something positive about it for now.
Being reluctant to confront myself in the mirror at this moment because the texture of my skin does not correlate with the actual appearance, I think I'm having another new pimple and I'm still dealing with the persisent number of pimples/whiteheads on my face. (with DUAC, dan's bp, and differin 0.1% as spot treatments & B5 megadose) Usually, I would put DUAC & bp on newly formed pimples (ones that are smaller with pus). These types of pimples tend to react quickly to DUAC/bp. In terms of cysts, I would put differin on it because it tends to reduce inflammation so that the cysts are NOT that obvious.
Lately, I've been staying home regularly and having no makeup on my face helps with my condition. (not sure if it's just placebo effect) But for those who need to use makeup, I find CoverFx foundation and almay concealer (the bottle ones: for oily/blemish skin type) best for acne skin as they won't clog pores with good coverage. You can get these at your local drug stores i.e. shoppers.
