So, I'm in love with this product. It's working for me like none other.
Ohhh... I'm so sorry for taking 4 (almost 5 weeks) to post something. I've been extremely busy at work and moving. I've been exhausted and tired. It's been bad. But what's been good is my Taz journey. I've been using Taz religiously for 17 weeks and my skin looks a world of a lot better. Over the past four weeks, I've missed about five days (not consecutively) and never woke up to a pimple. I had one random pimple near my temple, but it was small and went away very fast. No sweat!
I'm currently using Taz at night after washing with the Cetaphil antibacterial bar. I also wash with the same soap in the morning and afterward, put Clindamycin foam on. No moisturizer in the morning or evening unless I absolutely need it. I'm not on antibiotics anymore, but still take Ortho-Tri (not specifically for acne though).
The hyper-pigmentation is getting better everyday. The left side of my face is taking longer than the right. The right is practically clear and the left still has some darker spots that get lighter day-by-day.
Since I don't put moisturizer on my face, I choose one day of the week not to put Taz on at night and instead, I smooth AHA all over. It exfoliates and moisturizes like crazy. Because Taz is a retinoid, the AHA burns a little but then the sensation goes away pretty fast. But using it is well worth it... especially if you're not moisturizing like me.
At 24-weeks, I'm going to put new pics up. I know it's been a long time, but I thought I'd wait to give more people hope. You have to use this product for at least 12 weeks... but you really have to keep going past that time. Your face starts to take notice at week 12... but it's the weeks after that really prove the truth of this product.
What I like most about my skin now, is knowing that there isn't a lot going on underneath the skin. My skin isn't perfect by any means, but I'm not scared of waking up to a new pimple like I was before using the product.
Again, I apologize for taking so long to post... but if you ever have any questions, please let me know.
Until next time...
