This is my first time here, seems like there is lots of info to go around. Hope I can find some relief for my acne as well as for my plummeting confidence level... please que the melodramatic music.
I have a background in natural medicine (the degree is still in progress. its a long road) and this has helped me tremendously in terms of opening my eyes as to what I'm really putting into my body.
This being said, I'd like to say a few things about living a simple, natural lifestyle and how it can help your acne. Obviously, there will be a lot of you not ready to give up the diet coke and Mickey D's fries. That's ok, its not up to me to tell you how to live your life. But if you never try, you'll never know.
In this blog I pledge to myself and to all you readers to do a primary cut-through-the-bull-sh*t approach. I will only speak from experience and heavily researched and personally tested advice. What works for me may not work for you, but again try it for yourself before you discard it.
Remove yourself from the world for a moment. Realize that you are the only person in the world who knows your body as well as you do. Its important- its SACRED. Until your dying day, this is the only vessel you have to carry your precious conciousness, so the need to take care of it should be at the top of your priority list.
Living a life free of processed, unnatural products and foods will help alleviate if not cure your skin problems. Please also understand that no matter what method you use there are no instantaneous results. Expect to continue with a regimen over a period of weeks and months rather than days.
So, why do I still have acne while living this lifestyle? The answer is: I have no idea. Well, I have some idea but I'm getting to that. Another day, another blog.
For now, I wish you well. I hope your heads are all filled with colorful dreams and beautiful skin while you sleep and when you wake.
