10:00 AM Appointment
I was VERY nervous because I had never had any kind of skin treatment done. I was shaking and nervous because I didn't know what to expect and didn't know exactly what she was going to do. I was nervous because I thought it was going to be painful and might irritated my skin and make me breakout MORE or make cysts appear where it was just a little bump.
Microdermabrasion: felt like sandpaper rubbed hard all over my face, HURT a lot, less painful on forehead but over acne on my chin hurt so badly. hope this helps and wont make things worse.
Extractions: I had no idea what to expect but I knew there would be tools involved. At first she was doing things very lightly and minimal. I think taking care of things that were really at the surface already. It was tolerable. Then she was going to extract things that were under my skin, not even at whiteheads. I was nervous. 1. about pain and 2. because i thought it might lead to getting a breakout. VERY painful. i was shaking a lot and trying to breathe. she kept telling me to relax and i just couldn't. luckily it wasn't too long. it was weird having her tell me she was getting infections out. She told me that if an infection if ready to come out, it's best to remove it. Just scared because I've never had any procedures before. HURT but short lived and hopefully worth it. when she drained a deep cyst it hurt the most.
Calming Mask: smelled like apples. was ok. scared it was going to clog my pores or make be breakout. again nervous. face throbbing from extractions. 5-10 minutes, tried to slow my heart rate and breathing while lying there.
Hydrating Fluid: again scared it might clog and make me break out.
Only reason I considered this was because my insurance covers this and I just pay a co pay.
Hoping I get good results.
Right now trying not to look in the mirror since my face is all red and pimples are popped and bright red all over. next 2 days no regimen just cetaphil.
ice packs, ibuprofen. deep breaths
