Vitamin A, E and Tea Tree Oil. We're going homemade on this bitch.

These vitamin A caplets I have are gel caps. I'm thinking of trying to make my own little treatment.

I just cut open a caplet and rubbed the gel directly onto my skin (smelled like fish; lovely). After all, Retin-A is made from vitamin A. My caplets have fish oil and soybean oil in them.

Maybe I'll try to make a little potion - Vitamin A oil, tea tree oil, and.... maybe vinegar? Alcohol? I'd love some ideas.

I think I'll start with vitamin A and tea tree oil mixed into a treatment. Only a little tea tree oil, though - it's flammable, for x's sake.

If it works better than the AHA's been working, I'll be happy. Otherwise, back to square one.

ETA: Ok, I just mixed 2 vitamin A caplets, 2 vitamin E caplets, and about 5 drops of tea tree oil into a little jar. I'll use it for a few days and see what happens.

Vitamin A is supposed to help with cell turnover; Vitamin E is supposed to help with scarring; and tea tree oil is antiseptic. Should work... yes?
