Reintroducing myself

Hey everyone!

I've been a member of acne.org for a while but it has been a long time since I have actually revisited and wrote in this blog. If anyone has read my entries from at least over 1 year . ago..you can agree that that not only I am African American (black), I have moderate to severe acne and was using Dans Regimen for months.

Dans regimen did indeed work for a while but I would still break out before my menstrual cycles and even when i wasn't on it.

Over the past year, I have switched up my regimen. I was taking the following:

Summer2008-Spring 2009:

Fish Oil (2 gell pills) every other day

Zinc 50 mg chelated - once everyday

Colon Cleanser- once a day

Dans Full Regimen (morning and night)

Summer/Fall 2009: (morning and night)

Aubrey Organics Vegecol

Aubrey Organics Vegecol Toner

Joboba Oil

Shea Butter (moisturizer)

December 2009:

Aubrey Organics Vegecol Facial Cleansing Cream

Aubrey Organics Vegecol Toner

Joboba Oil

Shea Butter (moisturizer)

Okay so fast foward to today and here is my current regimen

January 2010: (Each Day)

Sea Buckthorn & Cucumber w/ Ester- C Facial Cleansing Cream

Sea Buckthorn & Cucumber w/ Ester- C Toner

Dans Treatment (benzoyl) once per day

Joboba Oil

Shea Butter (moisturizer)

Herpanacine Pills (6 per day)

Colon Cleanser ( 4-6 per day)

Herpanacine: ( i know sounds like Herpers lol)

The Herpanacine pills actually have been working on my face and have been cleaning the insides of my body. The Bumps have reduced significantly and the breakouts have been less and less.

When I started this product, I started with 3 pills per day.. the maximum you can take is 6.

The pills are all natural and comes in a powder form. The outside cap of the pill is made of vegetables so I though this was cool.

I've been using this product for a little over 1 month and i do now see more results each day!

So if anyone has not heard of this product or has and is skeptical about it, i say give it a try. Again , I have severe/moderate acne with highly sensitive skin.

Colon Cleanser:

This has come alongside the Herpanacine to help cleanse out my system even more. I have been using this for sometime so it is helping my skin heal.

Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Facial Cleanser and Toner:

This was recommended to me by the skin care specialist at my local natural/organic health foods store. This cleanser and Toner 1st of all.. smells really good! It has a lemon/ clean fresh smell to it.

I have been using the cleanser for 4 weeks now and I'm in love with it! it has done a better job than the Vegecol cleanser. The toner, I have been using for 1 week and so far it has been good, I cant complain. My main concern is keeping my breakouts and zits down to a minimal until i return home to see a dermatologist in Feb/March.

Dans Treament (Benzoyl):

Does it's job! enough said! :(

Joboba Oil/ Unrefined Shea Butter:

The joboba oil.. I have been using for sometime and its helped also heal my skin and unclog my pores. The oil is like (not heavy).

The shea butter.. if you don't know what it is your missing out on this wonderful product. The shea butter is a great moisturizer for skin in general. shea butter actually lasts for a long time (6 -8 months). This has been working great on my face. (especially for the winter months).

This is the end of my update. :( Again i'm just trying to minimize outbreaks and get rid of my acne! I suffered with this skin condition for 10 years and do not plan on suffering with it for the rest of my years on this earth!
