1 week and a day of Murad

so it's been a week and a day since I started using Murad. So far i haven't seen anything amazing, but my skin feels a little tighter. The problem is that I have all these new blemishes that are big and red and PAINFUL. Usually I only get one or two of these nasty buggars, but I have about five. It hurts and looks awful. I'm gonna be patient though, because the product instructions say that week 2 and 3 are the weeks of skin purging. I'm pretty nervous because all the reviews I've read say this is the worst part and that the breakouts are monumentally awful. Great. I've also noticed that my skin is sort of itchy after I first use it. Also the 2nd step tends to burn. How promising. The one good thing I notice is that the cleanser feels really good. That's about it though.

I hoping this works and by the 4th week everything is clearer. I'm sick of this and getting to the point of hopelessness if this doesn't work.

I guess it doesn't work it's just back to the dermatologist again to try millions of different products

that don't work. And then it'll probably be back to accutane.

Oye. Why does my skin have to be one ongoing science experiment? And why are the results hardly ever satisfying?

Hi there,I tried Murad when I had a second outbreak of what I like to call super-acne. And yeh, it does leave the skin tight, like it's stripping your skin of your natural oils.I personally think it was useless on me, because for obvious reasons, my acne was worst than I thought (hence why I'm on Roaccutane).I wasted so much money on Murad because I kind of got pressured and convinced by my then beauty therapist. I was desparate because I was going to see my bf.And it didn't do anything to my skin. I'm on Roac now after suffering from acne for 1 1/2 years.Good luck with Murad...maybe it will work for you...?
