Day 10

According to the acne.org expectations:  week 1: Skin is red, irritated, and itches while skin adjusts to the treatment.  week 2: further clearing, followed perhaps by a breakout. The breakout clears more quickly than usual. Skin is slightly less red and irritated. Red spots from old acne linger.  As I go into my second week of using the regimen, I am experiencing what is expected. My skin was slightly red and irritated during the first week while getting use to the benzoyl peroxi

As Dry as the Sahara

I've been experiencing some flakiness around my mouth and chin area; my cheeks also feel extremely dry but thats what I expect. I have extremely oily skin so this is a change for once.

Purging?

I notice I have a few more bumps added on to the acne I already had. Although that is upsetting, I understand that my face has to get use to this new regimen so I'm most likely going through a purging stage where it gets worse before it gets better. I'm staying positive! Hoping to see results soon.

Day 1

I haven't had clear skin since my first year of college. I am now in my third year and would do anything to get my first year skin back. Sometimes I will have random flare-ups where the bumps will look more red and inflamed on other days, but today it doesn't look as bad. My regimen was finally delivered today and I'm very excited to start using it! I'll be doing weekly updates, so

Bumps, bumps, go away

My acne use to be MUCH MORE severe than this! The acne.org regimen helped it A LOT. However, when I started using other products, I started getting random bumps every now and then on my forehead, cheeks and chin area. It doesn't look that bad, but I'm so use to having smooth skin and these stubborn bumps are BEYOND IRRITATING!

The Return

I have been struggling with acne off and on for two years now. My skin was clear and beautiful when I was on the regimen, but after I got to where I wanted to be, I stopped purchasing the products. I then would have random break outs after trying new products. I gave acne.org a break because I believe my skin was getting immune to the regimen. After several months of a different routine, I randomly broke out and I'm back again to see if the regimen will clear up my break out. Fingers crossed! I'
