Right and left side in the pictures month by month. Went from 60 to 80 mg for the fifth month. Been very dry lately and have been getting more nosebleeds, but that's expected. Been getting a bit of a purge lately but that's ok because I still have closed comedones under my skin I want out. So lazy with the updates, sorry. No notable difference really happened in month four, hoping for the best. Bye for now
So I'm too lazy to type a lot but just updating with my three month pics. Left is before accutane, right is today. Had like two nosebleeds this month, more headaches, some joint pain, the usual. Skin continues to get better but feeling a bit stagnant right now. Skins not actually as red in my 'today' pics, I took those after a shower so my cheeks are still red from that. Still getting pimples but less often. pleased so far. Also think the hydroquinone is working well.
Since upping my dose to 60mg ten days ago, I've been feeling a little nauseous and have been experiencing mild heartburn which has been unpleasant. Also a little moody.. almost started crying at work yesterday due to how agitated and annoyed I was by literally nothing. I've also definitely experienced a bit of a breakout as most people tend to when you start taking a higher dose. Skins been a bit dryer as well. And this pimple I popped on the side of my lip has been around for like a week and a
I barely keep this updated cause I'm always tired or busy but I just wanted to post some progress pics! I as supposed to post these two days ago but I'm lazy oops. I just finished my second month of accutane on 40mg! I've included three pictures, one of my forehead and two of my cheek/chin progress. In the progress pics, the first pic is pre-accutane, 2nd is the end of the first month and the third is the end of the second month. I think everything's coming along well. Although, I have a lot of

I've been thinking about and meaning to make an update for so long but haven't got around to it lol. Anyways! I last posted around 15 days ago and a lot has happened on my face since then. ALOT of bad but a lot of good too. I went and got that facial extraction done on Thursday the 17th that I told you guys about and she removed about...eh.. let's say 85-90% of the bumps. I wasn't expecting her to get rid of them all because I know that's unrealistic considering there was probably about 200 a
So it's been a while since I posted but it's the end of the first month! As far as side effects go, my skins been REALLY dry, lips aswell, and my eyes have recently started getting dry as well. Kind of sting to open in the mornings when I wake up. I also got really bad shoulder pain the other day. My backs been hurting and today my tailbone felt like it had shocks going through it, weird stuff. Also it hurts to extend my back /: on top of the that, I got a throat/sinus infection around the 22nd
So its day 18, and my face hasn't really gotten any better. New pimples keep popping up, especially around my jaw and cheeks. They come and go faster than they did pre-accutane though. Not that helpful when new ones just come to take their place. The past few days have been absolute hell because I've been having THE worst shoulder and upper back pains. I'm talking cant even put on my bra without heavily cringing kind of pain. Only time I feel relief is in the bathtub with hot water or when I'm
Update: So it's day 11 and I fell asleep with my makeup on last night (I'm talking primer, foundation, powder, and highlight-so my face was pretty caked)...woke up to a couple new pimples and crackly skin visible under my makeup..felt terrible! Feels like I just ruined all my progress so that's a tad disheartening. Debating a face mask tonight ur DJ that's a good idea on accutane. Lips haven't been too dry so that's good. Popped a bunch of pimples that seemed ready and were lingering and also
Hey so past three days my face has been really dry and itchy, but my foreheads still really oily. Lips have also been more dry. Had some pimples come up and I've popped some and they were gone pretty quick, except the one beside my left nostril crevice is reluctant to leave. I have several pimples appearing on both sides of my jaw but I'm just not going to touch those for now, and there's a couple appearing on both my cheeks which is upsetting because my left cheek was mostly scars but now its
Today's the day that my face has started getting drier and a bit itchy. Acne seems a little calmer though. I picked like 5 scabs off from pimples that I popped yesterday. Surprised they were ready to come off that quick. My lips haven't really had the chance to get dry as I've been moisturizing them like crazy with blistex. Still super thirsty. I also forgot to mention that Accutane delayed by period by like 4-5 days which is no biggie, but it did make me worry a bit. My hands are getting really
Shots of pain throughout my body, mostly stomach. A pimple that's been on my nose for a month now but hasn't come up from under my skin now has over night, as well as my lower cheek/jaw area flared up. Icky surprise when I woke up.. so many whiteheads.I popped them by the end of the night because I was around a lot of people today so I couldn't not. I also finally picked up some moisturizer today (Cerave), as I had been using some random neutrogena cream I had in my room, which I didn't really
My family was taking shots of vodka at home and I decided to join them even though I know you shouldn't drink on accutane. Because six months no drinking??? Haha no way.. And I definitely see why. I'm telling you, I have a pretty good tolerance(it usually takes me about 8-10 shots to get drunk), but ONE shot felt like 4-5. I was definitely feeling it almost immediately after I took it, weird feeling. Face was not really looking any different.
Had a very strange feeling in my stomach a couple hours after taking the first pill; kind of comparable to being vaguely hungry and nauseous at the same time. I also woke up slightly anxious, continued to experience this anxiety throughout work. A couple notable things for day 1: -Felt quite moody but that could've been due to other factors such as sleep, personality, etc idk -Muscle pain, breast pain -So so incredibly tired, and I know it was definitely the accutane responsible for this be
I've decided to track my progress on accutane by writing about it. This is both for myself and others to use as reference. I'm 19, female, tried everything else possible and nothing worked, so this is my last resort. I'm praying it's not a waste of my time. I've had bad skin, on and off since abut 8th grade and quite frankly it's enveloped my entire life. First thing I do when I wake up is check my face, just to be dissapointed by what I see, but I already expect it anyways. My self esteem is so
