dunno wad week this is haha! so far, nothing has changed. i am still breaking out and i still get new pimples - one heals and another pops out! i'm still using differin and dalcin t, but it's not like they're helping haha. on a much brighter note, i'm having my derm appointment soon and i can't wait to get started on accutane and get this shit over and done with!! by the way, i noticed that my com always lagged whenever i'
WTF SERIOUSLY! The inflammation has gotten even worse and I dunno how but everything has like spiralled out of control in this short period of time!! NOW I REALLY WANT ACCUTANE! I am so insisting on it when I go NSC! I hope they make it quick. I know need to go for blood test and all that crap and knowing Singapore healthcare system, I'm gonna have to probably wait ages before I can even get my hands on accutane! Look at the state of my face! It's horrible! I'M LIKE POSTING EVERY FEW DAYS BECA
iI'm not even expecting anyone to read this cuz imma just gonna rant: 3 of my spots became inflamed after the end of today, which is freaking ridiculous because I just reported that everything was fine yesterday. I realized that this cycle has been going on forever - never really resolving itself. Even though my acne is in no way severe, it is extremely persistent. I'm going to my first derm appointment in nsc on 22nd Dec (they made me wait a whole freaking month just for this appointment!) an
The red breakouts have healed (thank god!). A lot of my acne have healed even though there's still quite some left. But right now I'm dealing with more hyperpigmentation than acne! Anyways, here are the pics
I have no idea why but I'm having really horrible breakouts now..tiny red spots everywhere. And my face looks so scarred and bumpy. I've been using differin for about 12 weeks now and Dalacin T for 13 weeks. I don't get why my acne not recovered yet!! I want to cry T.T I don't even feel like stepping foot out of the house anymore Now I feel like my acne is never going to go away..
I'm adding this extra post because I want to comment to the Avene moisturizers I've purchased. (Cleanance Expert and Skin Recovery Cream) Cleanance Expert goes on matte and has a powdery feel. I t is very light on the skin and does not cause any breakouts or blockage of pores. It is really suitable for acne-prone skin. Skin Recovery Cream goes on thicker and is more moisturizing. It does not go on matte and can make the skin look a bit shiny. However, it does not feel heavy on the skin (unli
As mentioned before, there are a few cysts on my chin. Other than that, I am undergoing some mild purging due to the differin being applied all over my face. And again, I have changed something in my routine (because I'm like that lol): I no longer apply moisturizer after my differin because I would wake up in an oil slick when I do. Now I feel less oily when I wake up (albeit still somewhat oily) and I feel like the differin is more effective when you don't slather on moisturizer after it.
I got 2 new cysts on my chin - I felt it coming up for days now so it's not surprising. There are very little changes to the acne on the rest of my face. They looked less red now but they're still there. Most of them are This moisturizer is not bad! Doesn't irritate the skin or cause more pimples! I'll continue using it and see how it goes!
I literally just went out and bought 2 new moisturizers: Avene Cleanace Expert and Avene Skin Recovery Cream. Honestly I felt that the CeraVe has been quite heavy on my skin since it's meant for dry skin and I have oily skin. I didn't know which of the 2 I should start using first but I read online that the skin recovery cream is more like a quick fix when your face goes haywire so I'll save that for the rainy days and apply the cleanance expert twice a day from now on. I just applied it
20 year old Asian with oily, acne prone skin. Here is a short trip down memory lane about my acne: 3 months ago, I started getting acne on both my cheeks, mainly red papules. It was horrific because I never had acne on my cheeks before. It started out small, with 1 or 2 on my right cheeks and then bam, it was everywhere. After 1 month, I had acne all over my cheeks and chin so I went to see a GP and she prescribed me Dalacin T and Erythromycin 250g (1 tablet 2 times a day). I took it for a w
