Last week of accutane course

Hello guys,

Sorry for the super late blog! I am happy announce that I am on my last week of accutane! My course was 4months and I am so close to the finish line. My skin has been amazing with only a little bit of redness on my acne scars. The side effects I am experiencing are redness on my face, dry skin on face, arms and legs, feeling a little moody, and a bit of hair loss (this is minor, it could be tied with my change in diet).
I am so happy with the results. Seven more days, just seven more days!!! then I can celebrate with a drink!
I will blog again after I am finished accutane

Thanks for reading and good luck with your accutane course!

Week 5

Hey guys,

I am on week 5 and my skin is looking super clear! I am very dry around my mouth and on my hands but other than that no side effects!
My cheeks are taking the most time to clear up but my forehead is all cleared up now!

I will post again soon!

Week 4

Hello guys,

I'm into Week 4 on Accutane and my skin on my forehead is all cleared up! My cheeks have broke out in spots and are taking a while to clear up. I hope they go away soon. My arms and hands are becoming more dry than usual- I have a rash on one of my arms from dryness. I am using coconut oil as a moisturizer and I hope it helps. My face is no longer red- thank god! And I am very happy with the results this week. I need to take my bloodtest this week for the monthly bloodtest needed on Accutane. I have been feeling a little blue lately but I feel it has more to do with the rainy weather than from the Accutane.

I will post next week!

Week 3

Hey guys,

I'm on my third week of accutane and my skin is doing good. I have been having more break outs than usual and I hope this is just part of the process, or a side effect of all the chocolate I ate this weekend. My face is less red and my lips are less dry. My scalp is very dry and I am going to only wash my hair once a week to prevent drying out my scalp. I am still content with my accutane journey and looking forward to further results (clearer skin) in the next couple of weeks. This week I am going to try and minimize using cover up on my face and see how that goes! :)

Week 2

Hi guys!
I am on week 2 of accutane and it is incredible how fast my skin has cleared up, I only have a couple spots on my cheeks! My redness on my face has calmed down and the only side effects I am experiencing are dry lips and face. I have been using EOS lip chap & coconut oil/vaseline to help with the dryness and they work really well, I strongly recommend them!

I am feeling more confident and happy with my accutane journey.

Thanks for reading my blog!
I will post next week.

Week 1

I am on week 1 of accutane and I am experiencing minor side effects similar to what I experienced during my first course of accutane (3 years ago).
My side effects are: red face, dry lips and dry skin on face (forehead area and around my mouth).

I am a little worried about how red my face is going to get because I naturally blush a lot and am starting a new job!
When I feel like my face is as red as a cherry, I like to look at peoples' success stories of accutane.
Just a note to readers: if you ever feel like the side effects of accutane, such as breakouts or redness, are making you feel self-conscious, just think of the amazing results you will get in the end.

I will be blogging again in the next week or so.
