Tca Peel, 12.5% Day Four; Final Day

I give up. my skin looks the same as it did before the peel. I'm going to assume that I either did not apply enough TCA or should have applied a second layer after the first five minutes. I'm going to try the peel a second time when the December break comes around, and I'll post again then! :-D

Tca Peel, 12.5% Day Three

I figured that today would be the day I would see some action from the Peel, but I'm wrong; there is nothing. There is absolutely no peeling and I'm not even itching, so I'm starting to wonder if it didn't work. ( This morning I washed with the Green Tea Cleanser and applied only my Oil-Free moisturizer with SPF 30. I went through the entire day just fine. No

Tca Peel, 12.5% Day One

This will be lengthy, I apologize before you start regretting this: I went ahead and did my first TCA Peel today. I ordered the product from Makeup Artist's Choice (http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/) for $26.75. I also bought a sample of the Aloe w/Lavender Soothing Gel just in case the healing process became painful or something. In total, with Shipping and all that jazz, I paid $30.46. I know it's still a little bit pricey, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the hundreds that are ch

Tca Peel, 12.5% The Background

Sooooooo, I've always been plagued by bad skin, and for the past eleven years, I've suffered. After hours of Google-ing, I found that a TCA (Tri-chloroacetic acid) Peel at home was probably the best option for me because: A) I'm poor, and the equipment for this process is cheap. B) It's relatively easy to do and C) I have the opportunity for downtime because of the Thanksgiving holiday. My background: I've been using ProActiv for about seven years, and it's been just okay for my sk
