Seeing Some Improvement And At The Same Time Another Problem

Okay so its been about 8 days since I started using epsom salt treatment/mask daily before I sleep and my painful pimples and cysts has been almost cleared. I do not feel pain near my jaws anymore and I can sleep much much better now. I am no longer on doxycycline only BCP. I also started to do a turmeric mask every other day before I do the epsom salt mask and also I have used witch hazel for the first time two days ago and I think it has helped keep my skin less oily and soft. It does stink though. Overall there is a huge improvement with my acne I do have some on my chin and they are still continuing to purge but that's a good thing. The problem I have now is that my face is red all over especially on my cheeks and chin as you can see I do not know why its so red. It doesn't feel inflamed or anything it barely hurts except on my existing pimples and I am thinking about using calamine lotion to see if it can take away the redness. I am open to hearing any suggestions that may help the redness on my face. Oh btw I took these photos after I washed my face so you can see some water drops nothing nasty.

Painful Acne

As you can see my acne is pretty bad. I have some serious inflammation, cystic, black&white heads, and pustules. These photos were taken three days ago and at the time I was under the prescription of anti-inflammatory pills, anti-bio tic (doxycyclin), and birth control pills. my acne settled down during the first week of taking my prescription but as I was done with the anti-inflammatory pills my acne started to flare up again. And it just got worse each day after. I had a 2nd derm appointment, which was today, to see how the pills have worked for me, but about four days ago my acne was so out of control to the point where I cannot sleep because of the pain. So I started to do some research online for something anything that can help relieve the pain at least and stumbled upon an article about Epsom salt and how it has worked for a lot of people and it was a good source of detoxification for painful swollen acne. So I gave it a try and I am on my third day of using the epsom salt mask/treatment and it definitely shows results. It brings out a head to my acne that were just swollen red bumps and the acne that already had pus in them it dries them out and then it just naturally goes away. It reduced the redness and the pain (which I was very happy about). I was able to sleep nicely after I started this treatment especially the epsom salt bath was wonderful. I truly recommend using epsom salt for painful swollen acne. I also started to change my diet a couple weeks ago and cut out on soda, candy (which I am obsess with, so this was a hard one for me), milk ( I am planning to switch to soy milk instead but haven't drank milk in weeks because the hormones in the milk can be a cause to produce acne for some people or some people may not even know that their body cannot digest the milk properly which can also cause acne.), and ate less oily food pretty much went on a better diet for the sake of my acne. I have not been using any chemical face wash for about a week also and I am planning on using natural lotions, cleansers, etc instead. None of the popular products had helped me one bit which I wasted loads of money on hoping it will work. i have tried proactive, neutrogena, clearasil, Boot's expert, Acnes, and Botanics. I am hoping that my acne can get better and go away forever since I have switched to an all natural face treatment with a good diet. And also that my experience can help others who suffers as bad as I do.
