Today I am entering the 9th day of regimen. Surprisingly I didn't really have breakouts?! I did have two pimples appearing red two days ago but it was because I picked on them the night before. I guess it is a good thing?
My face is flat now. Basically no more bumps but i wonder if there are hidden acne still (like the ones you don't see on the surface but you know it's there when you touch your skin).
My face is still a bit itchy and dry. I started using more treatment after the first week. My skin doesn't dry out more and doesn't dry out as bad as the first week. T-zone is back to oily but between my brows and my chins are quite dry. Skin feels rough as before (but no bumps.. if that makes sense hahah). still can't put make up on my face cause the dryness makes it very patchy. Even my zinc oxide sunblock which appears white makes my face look very patchy.
I wonder what to expect later? when will my skin become not rough again?
and sorry still no camera at the moment...
Today is my 7th day of the regimen. Sorry guys I broke my camera so I can't really upload photo at the moment. All the little bums are gone but the big ones are still on my face. I tried to use AHA at night as moisturizer after the treatment. I also put additional moisturizer whenver I feel that my face is tight. My dry patches are better now but still quite dry. I am going to start puting more BP from tonight and I wonder how that will go
I have been puting a lot of zinc oxide sun block every morning. White zinc oxide with dry patches aren't pretty together but I can't afford to hurt my skin more! I am kindda looking forward to (and scared) break out next week... That's maybe a way to figure out if it's really working for me! Although getting ride of all the little bums on my forehead is a big thing!
For the acne I have on my neck, they have not changed. I am not sure if they are acne or not actually. We'll see how it goes..
Today is my third day of the regimen. I can feel that my skin is quite dry.. I put on half a finger length of the treatment on my face and my neck. I feel that I don't need to wait for 10 mins before I put on the treatment but put it on right after I get out of shower. The treatment is sucked my by my skin right away and I hardly have time to smooth it out!
I am using a lot of moisturizer and sunblock. I mixed 1.5 pump of moisturizer plus 1 pump worth of zinc oxide sunblock. My goodness perhaps I used too much sunblock... It is super white and really makes my face's dryness and flakeiness show! I have some BB cream on top but it looks like I have dry patches everywhere. When I smile, I see wrinkles around my mouth! I regret not getting jojoba oil when I ordered... I thought my super oily skin will not need it but I was wrong! I might pick up one from the local drug store and put on less sunblock tomorrow.
With the dry patches on my face, I still see my my face continue to be very shiny.. my skin is very confused haha... Goal for tomorrow, less sunblock and more moisturizer.
One thing I want to point out is that the moisturizer really sting! Is that strange? I have this scratch on my hand it really hurts when I wash my face! it doesn't hurt when I wash my hair though. Also it stung my eyes although I didn't put it close to my eyes. You should be aware of this and avoid eye area... Since I don't dare to smear sunblock around my eyes (cause I don't want to move BP to my eye area), I have to wear sunglasses when I go out now. I will continue this blog once I see changes in my skin.
I just received my regimen package on the weekend (June 23) and started using it at night! I was so excited! The first day (June 24) was great and I felt that my skin got cleared. I can feel that the bumps on my forehead are smaller! These phoo are what my skin is like before the regimen.
Some background on my skin: I am 29 years old and I have suffered from acne since I was 11! It is more related to my sensitive skin than anything else. My oily skin doesn't help either. If I go to a store that's dusty, my hands will start itching (that's how sensitive my skin is..) I have tried to go to the dermotologist for more than a year now and it doesn't really help. I think he thinks my acne isn't as severe? He thinks it's just scars but I know it is not true. I gave it more than a year and now I am ready to try something else.
My acne is stress related as well. I can really see it getting worst when I am stressed or not getting enough sleep. I do wear some makeup but it's mostly just BB cream plus some loose powder. I usually don't get any big acne anymore (not like when I was a teenager) but my face is full of little bumps.
My whole family is acne-prone and all have oily skin. But their skins are not as sensitive as mine. Anyways I really look forward to getting better with the regimen!
