Today is day #59 and sorry I haven't posted in about 3 weeks, been super busy and keep forgetting to check back on here.
Anyways here is the update so far...
Was switched to 60mg a day last month and found out it worked best for me if I took 40mg in the morning and 20mg at night (otherwise I was getting really dry and my face would hurt all day at work). This way I feel like I am keeping the medicine in my body over the whole day instead of taking it all in the morning and having to wait 24 hours to get more in there.
So last month was alright, I had a pretty bad breakout right when I switched doses but it seemed to calm down finally around last week. My family commented on how much better my face was looking even though I don't really see any great change but I see myself everyday so that's why I don't see it.
I had my dr appt yesterday and my lab results showed that my triglycerides have been elevated from 100 to 132 and now they are 184. I guess the normal range is under 150 so she wasn't too concerned but she told me to try and watch how much sugar I have and that should fix the problem (accutane already makes this lab go up so it can be really hard to combat).
I am still going to be on 60mg this month and my derm said I am about 1/3 done with treatment! Yay! I have ingested about 3200mg total and they want me somewhere between 7000-9000mg total before I stop. I think I am finally starting to see improvement both in the amount of acne I get and the size of the blemishes.
Right now I would say I have about 3 active pimples and about 4 others that are sort of scabs but are small and don't really bother me. My forehead has been 100% clear now for a little over a week and my cheeks and nose areas have been 100% clear for almost 3 weeks now! Yay! My worst spot is still the chin area but I hope it will get better soon. I definitely notice that I get acne less often and if I do get a pimple, it is a lot smaller and goes away a lot quicker than it used to.Usually if I pop it once it comes to a head, it heals in about 2 days!
I feel like my scars and dark marks aren't fading as fast as I would have liked but I am taking steps and that is all that matters! My mood has been greatly increased this last month as I am feeling better about my skin and confident that my skin will be clear in no time! I have started going to the gym more often and being more social as I am not as embarassed of my skin! So I feel that this past month has been a positive one compared to the first. Fingers crosssed for 100% clear skin in the next 30 days!
Hope all is well with everyone and you are all hanging in there with your struggles! we can do this!
Today is day #37 for me and wow is time flying by quickly! Upped my dosage to 60mg a day last week and I think I am going through some sort of "initial breakout" where my body is getting used to the higher dosage. I really really hate it but if I actually think about it, flushing out the acne is a good thing in the long run because that means it is working!
Right now I have 4 large and I mean huge monstrous pimples and I have to go to a baby shower on Saturday with my whole extended family! Yikes! They are mean buggers and hurt like hell! I got 3 on my left face area between my lip and chin and one on my right side in the same place. Thankfullly forhead, cheeks, nose area and upper lip area are all clear! Yay! And the red marks from the pimples I did have in those areas are slowly fading!
These four new pimples are definitely cysts/nodules. One of them came to a head last night and I popped it and drained the pus and it is looking a lot better today. I am trying to resist touching the other ones and really hoping that they will heal really fast in time for the weekend! All of my cousins and friends I will be seeing this weekend have perfect skin and have since they were teenagers and I hate the embarassmment I feel showing up at 24 years old with acne! Ahhhhhh! Major depressive moment.
SO an update on the overall appearance of my skin... I still hate looking in the mirror and avoid it whenever I can. In some lights my face looks awesome and even toned and in some lights (like the fluorescent ones at my work) make my skin look spotty and red in places while in others I look really pale. I cannot wait until my skin tone evens out and everything looks normal again! PLus my skin is still pretty red which I feel like only I notice so that's good.
My eyes were really really red the last time I posted and they are finally getting better now, almost completely back to normal. I still use visine maybe once a week if I get a bad night sleep because then they are even more red. I am also trying to be really concious of drinking as much water as possible to avoid red eyes, dry skin and headaches and so far it seems to be working.
I have started getting back in shape also which may be attributing my little breakout I am having. I was talked into doing a half marathon with a coworker so I am training for that basically from the bottom up. I really hope the workouts, eating better, and drinking more water will help my skin in the long run. I am also seriously considering cutting dairy out of my diet completely because the way dairy is processed in the US now includes tons of hormones that really mess with your body and cause it to freak out sometimes! No joke I know of a pair of siblings who had terrible terrible acne and their mom heard the hormones in milk cause acne and completely removed it from their diet and they are completely acne free now! Could be speculation but a trial wouldn't hurt!
Feel free to keep following along with my journey. The support has really made this a lot easier to deal with... I wish I had pictures to update with but I keep forgetting. Will try and post some with my next post. Take care!
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Haven't posted in awhile... went on vacation and then been busy working the New YEar holiday at work but here I am with some time to post. Today marked day 30 in my accutane experience! Was crazy to think I have already been doing this for 30 days, crazy how time flies.
Anyway, had my blood drawn last Saturday and my appointment with my derm this morning. Labs all came back completely normal. Told her about all my side effects which I consider pretty minimal and she said everything was looking good and decided to up my dose to 60mg a day instead of 40mg. So tomorrow I start my higher dose which I am a little scared about. Scared I will have another bad breakout while my body tried to adjust to a higher dose. She also told me to get some eye drops because my eyes have really been bugging me and have been really bloodshot so I used them for the first time tonight and my eyes feel better but they are super red and looks like I scratched them or something.
Okay so an update on the skin over the last week or so. I was doing pretty well before Christmas and then had a really bad breakout on Christmas Eve and got about 5 pimples along my jawline on the left side of my face, 2 pimples on my forehead and 3 pimples by the right side of my mouth! Hideous Xmas!!! At least I was just around my family and didn't really stress about it too much. Left for vacation in the mountains the day after Christmas and the dry air up there didnt really help or hurt my skin. The pimples I had gotten have taken forever to heal. The two on my forehead and the 3 by my mouth are gone but the ones on my left jawline are really having a hard time healing up!
Yesterday I started feeling a pimple on my left lip area (halfway between my nostril and my lip on the left side). It wasn't bad yesterday but I could feel it under my skin and it hurt if I pressed on it. Well, this morning I woke up and it was raised a bit but honestly not the worst thing I had ever seen. But by the end of my work day it was a huge red festering pimple and was really painful to the touch! I cam home and popped it with a sterilzed needle and got all the pus stuff out and its feeling much better but I hope it doesn't scab over too bad tomorrow.
Overall I guess I would call my skin okay for the first month. I had a few really good days followed by a few really bad days and it just repeated itself. I hope this starts being noticeable soon!
Update on side effects:
- The dry skin is still not terrible but is noticeable to me. The bridge of my nose is constantly dry and rough but never peels and you cant tell its dry unless you touch it.
- I have had a little rash-like bumpiness on my neck and under my chin but it seems to be related to the dryness because when I put lotion on it, it gets better. It doesn't feel dry to the touch but hopefully the lotion is the answer and it will fade soon.
-I had dry patched on the backs of both hands last week that itched sometimes but I constantly put hand lotion on and they went away in about 4 days.
- The dry eyes are awful but bearable. They just feel tired all the time, like when you stare at a computer or TV too long. They are always bloodshot and everyone at my work keeps asking me if I have pink eye! I was using visine to combat the redness but I am hoping the new eyedrops which are just artificial tears will help more.
- I have had a few nosebleeds the last couple weeks and the inside of my nose is really dry but this past week I have noticed and improvement.
- No joint pain, depression, or anything crazy to report.
- I do get the occasional really bad headache but usually drinking a lot of water help because I am usually dehydrated and also if absolutely necessary I take 400mg of Ibuprofen. (I usually take 800mg for headaches but I don't want to upset my already hardworking liver).
Here's to starting a new year that will hopefully lead to beautiful skin and a new me!! Good luck to everyone else also and happy 2012!!!
Good evening again,
So I am not sure if my face is getting better or not but it is staying pretty much the same and not getting worse so that is always good! Got 2 new pimples today, one on my right lip area (kind of near the corner of my mouth and up a little) and another on my chin on the left side. The other pimples have healed on my left chin area and I have one healing pimple on the right side of my forhead (super small so I was never too worried about it).
My face is definitely drier but still nothing that morning and night moisturizer doesn't take care of. I have noticed that my chin feels kind of rough and when I look at it super close in the mirror I notice that there are a lot of blackheads on there and it is a little bumpy but totally not noticeable unless you are right there looking at it. Hopefully this means my pores are finally purging everything, hopefully I don't break out really bad in the future!
The worst thing right now is my eyes! They are constantly hurting and red! My friends and family are always asking me if I am tired or sick. I put some visine in them tonight but they still kind of hurt and feel tired. I think I might go out and buy some eyedrops tomorrow and see if it helps or if I really am just sleep deprived.
Other than that I don't really have much to complain about... my face is not read anymore unless it gets irritated by something and my lips are doing fine, just wearing chapstick. I am still worried I haven't had the initial breakout and I am going on vacation next week and hoping my face stays calm and okay.
Will report back soon! Enjoy the holidays!
Sorry it's been awhile since I posted... had a really busy weekend!
A summary of my skin the last 4 days... not much change. The pimple that was really bothering me on my left cheek went away and was immediately replaced with another one right next to it! ugh! cannot get away from these ones! As of today I have 5 "pimples." The reason I put it in quotation marks is because I would only consider 2 of them "active." The other 3 are kind of scabs from picking at them (yes I know I shouldn't!).
When I get a pimple it is usually only an active pimple for a day or two and then completely shrinks and forms a dark spot or a scab. The scabs are slower in healing than usual because my face is more dry and scabs heal better when they are moist (weird, I know but I learned this from my doctor friends... which is why scabs under bandaids heal faster!)
So I am not too depressed about my skin this week... my mom and sister both made comments that my skin is looking better than it did before I started treatment. I still feel like my face kind of looks red at random times but my sister actually commented that my face looked really red the first week (didn't bother to tell me) and that it doesn't look red at all anymore! Thank goodness because I was really self concious about it when I was work and it was red. Also I noticed that the hotter my shower, the longer my face stays red during the day. So I have to take lukewarm showers but it is a small price to pay for nice skin!
Update on side effects: Skin is definitely more dry and I don't notice the oil at the end of the day like I used to. Hooray! But it is not so dry that I need to constantly apply moisturizer... just once in the morning and before bed works great. I find myself applying chapstick all the time now and when I don't my lips are exactly dry but they feel weird. The last couple days putting on regular chapstick has left my lips with a weird film on them and I feel like the chapstick is just sitting on the surface and not actually soaking in. So I am considering getting a better chapstick like aquaphor or burts bees for the day and maybe some carmex at night... suggestions?
Somehting else I have noticed recently is an increase in the darkness of the circles under my eyes... I have always had really dark rings under my eyes (hereditary I guess) and have used a garnier tinted concealer for almost a year now to mask some of the darkness because it always makes me look tired or sick. Lately I have felt like it is getting way worse! Not sure if it is because my skin is thinning and therefore I am getting more pale and everything shows up more or if I am being a hypochondriac and thinking I have every side effect in the book. However, my sister gave me an eye cream that she uses at night and I have been doing that for a couple nights now and also been putting vitamin e oil on them. It seems to be a bit better so I guess I am happy with the results from that. O yeah one more thing... my eyes definitely get dry and tired by the end of the day. A friend of mine told me last night that my eyes were really red and it looked like I was sleep deprived. I wasn't tired at all and when I looked in the mirror they were totally bloodshot and just felt really tired and heavy. I put in some visine to get rid of the redness which worked and am just trying to get as much rest as possible and keep my eyes closed and rested a lot.
Sorry for the ramble but I had a lot to catch up on! Hope everyone is having a great weekend and getting excited for Christmas! I will probably post once more before Christmas and will then be on vacation for a week after. So keep your commentscoming and I will try and get back to them as soon as I can!
Better news today! Woke up and looked my skin hadn't gotten any better so I took a pretty lukewarm shower and was prepared to call in sick to work because I couldn't handle the redness! But surprise to me I got out of the shower and my skin surprisingly looked okay! I wouldn't call it back to normal but it was less red for sure. I think that drinking lots of water last night and caking on the lotion really helped and I didn't wake up with any new breakouts today! yay. I think the skin was really dry and I didn't really notice yesterday because I mistook the shininess for oil but I really think it was just dry. So the skin felt tight and weird this morning but throughout the day it got better! By the end of work today I felt almost back to normal! Maybe my body had a little freakout and needed a little time off the pill... Oh yeah forgot to say I took the pill again this morning when it looked like my skin was looking alright (and to see if it was maybe an allergic reaction and see if my skin acted up again... kind of a self test before I went crying to my doctor)
So today I am pretty excited! I am going to switch taking my pill from at night to in the morning with breakfast since I am only once a day. For some reason my body seems to be happier with a morning dose... so that is fine by me
I also tried to be concious of how much water I was drinking today and definitely drank more than normal, so probably another reason I feel better today. My skin is defintely drier and I saw a little bit of flakiness on my chin but a quick little application of some lotion took care of that for the rest of the day. My skin is still a little red (more pinkish I guess) but in my opinion is getting better from yesterday.
As for the other side effects... lips are still chapped but nothing crazy and is totally manageable with my regular chapstick (chapstick brand), haven't had to switch to something more effective. Also I have noticed my eyes kind of hurt by the end of the day and feel a little dry. When I come home I just lay on the couch for 10 mins or so and they feel so much better! Probably a combo of the accutane and also looking at computers at work so I am not too worried about that!
Going to head to bed and now and drink lots of water before hand and lather on the lotion! Hopefully tomorrow is just as good!
Sorry for the long ramble but hopefully this helps someone with similar problems! Hang in there!!!
Hello everyone, good evening.
So last night was pill #9 and I had noticed my skin looking a little red from what I had thought was a sunburn. This morning I woke up to what seemed to be swollen areas on my forehead, especially between my eyebrows (I guess in what they call the T-Zone). When I wrinkle my forehead the wrinkles are super red with white around them, and if I push on them they feel sore and swollen (it's kind of hard to explain). Needless to say I emailed my derm and she told me that redness isn't very common but it can happen with temperature change and wind and being in the sun. I have been inside mostly except for Saturday but it wasn't even that sunny. So she told me I could stop by tomorrow morning or Thursday morning if it doesn't get any better.
I am skipping my accutane pill tonight and hoping that my skin can rehydrate and have a break. The reddest areas are my chin, nose and forehead and they look almost waxy if you get them under the right light. It's like my skin has completely changed and not for the better in my opinion. In addition to being red and swollen-like,, it's also really hot to the touch!
So now I am sitting here wondering what is worse... mild persistent acne or no acne and a bright red face! I know this is probably melodramatic of me but seriously this is crazy! and its uncomfortable!
I did a bunch of googling and read that cortisone can help with the swelling and vitamin e can help with redness and inflammation. So i had both on hand at home and used a little of both so we will see what happens overnight. I can feel my face really drying out and getting really tight when it isn't moisturized. I don't have an opportunity to reapply lotion at work so I am hoping 2x a day is enough. I am also going to try and drink twice as much water as usual to try and keep my skin hydrated and help flush everything out.
So if anyone has any experience with this or is in a similar situation please let me know! Anyone who can offer advice please do!
Good evening... today is pill #8.
So the skin looks about the same today, another new pimple on the left side of my chin kind of under the chin area so it isn't really noticeable and it seems to already be healing which is great!
On the down side today I have noticed some bumps under my skin on the middle of my chin and also between my eyebrows. I would say there are maybe 5 of them total and they are about 1/2 a cm in size, one on my chin is probably almost a centimeter. I can feel them with my fingers and they feel warm to the touch and sort of hard, but you can't see them at all! It kind of annoys me because it feels like my chin is bruised when I move it or like my forehead is bruised when I scrunch my nose
I had cystic acne for a bit awhile ago but it wasn't really like this... the bumps would pop up overnight, be raised and show horribly, but never come to a head and were so hard to get rid of. I have been feeling these bumps for over 2 days now and they haven't gotten any bigger or smaller, just more bruised feeling. Is this another form of cystic acne? Will it eventually raise and be a huge pimple? So scared please tell me if anyone has experienced this!!!
Happy Saturday everyone...
Today I took my 7th pill which celebrates one week of accutane! Woo! Only 5 months and 3 weeks to go...
So an update on the skin situation... ran errands today and went to the farmers market. Was probably outside no more than 2 hours and came home to nice rosy cheeks and nose, evidence of a little sunburn! Needless to say I guess my skin is changing like they say and becoming more sensitive to sun. Thankfully we are headed into the winter months and sun won't really be a factor I hope
Woke up with one new sort of pimple this morning... forming above my right eyebrow. Actually kind of looks more like a bump and hopefully it surfaces tomorrow or just not at all. Good news on the other pimples, they definitely went down a bit overnight but are still pretty irritated and I can't help but keep touching them to make sure they aren't mountains on my forehead, which probably isn't very smart.
I have noticed makeup is stating to look a little off on my skin, not bad just different. I can't really explain it other than you can tell where I have pimples because the pimples almost look purple or bruised under the makeup... am I applying it wrong or something ladies?
The only other issue is the chapped lips. Well I wouldn't really call it an issue but they are more dry than usual, nothing crazy like splitting or bleeding, I just notice myself reaching for the chapstick more often than usual.
Well that's pretty much the only update I have, more to come! Have a great night!
It's the middle of the day on Friday and I woke up to a really unfortunate situation on my face. The pimples on my forehead might be a tiny bit better but I also woke up to one more on my forehead and one on the left side of my chin and one on my left cheek. So last week I started out with 3 active pimples and today I officially have about 10 active pimples. Today is definitely a depressing day. I know 10 doesn't seem like much but I have always had pretty moderate/mild ance and averaged between 3 and 5 or 6 pimples at a time.
And to top it off, these pimples are not easy to cover up with makeup (you girls know what I mean!). My forehead pimples are swollen and painful to the touch and look like little mountains if you look at them in a certain light.
On another note, my lips felt very chapped when I woke up and I have been using a little more chapstick today than normal. Also, the skin on my hands was super dry so I have been putting lotion on them. Other that that, no major changes.
I hope everyone is having a better experience than I am right now... just a sad depressing day and I am staying in my house and cleaning and doing laundry until I go over to my parents for dinner tonight. Hope everyone is doing well and sorry to depress everyone with my sob story!
Good evening everyone... today was pill #5 and starting tomorrow I will be on once a day dosing! Hooray!
Okay the ups of today... The left side of my chin is much much better today so I was so happy to see that this morning!
The downs of today... oh where do I start?
-The pimple on my right cheek was humongous this morning and had a little bit of a scab on it so I don't know if I am an unconcious picker when I sleep but it was a monster! I tried so hard to cover it up with makeup but didn't really help much... Ick!
-Woke up to 4 pimples on my forehead! I hate that forehead skin is already so tight that when you get a pimple on it, it looks like a frickin mountain! Tried to cover those up too which worked well at first since they were just forming but when I got home from work they all had white heads on them and were hurting so bad! Hopefully they will feel better in the morning.
- The pimple on my left cheek wasn't as bad as I thought it would be this morning but it had a scab all day today, which actually came off in the shower tonight (didn't scrub at it at all) and now is just a little pink mark, hopefully this is good.
- I can feel a small pimple forming on my right cheek kind of close to my ear right on my cheekbone but I am praying that it's just a little random bump and hopefully I am overthinking it.
Wow so all in all today was a pretty down day for me No difference on the dryness/oiliness of my skin and since the Santa Ana winds are gone my nose is back to normal as if nothing happened... I do notice my eyes kind of feeling tired a lot and sort of dry but I do look at computers all day so that could be the problem...
Well all, I hope I haven't discouraged anyone with this depressing post... if this is my version of a terrible initial breakout then I will take it! Just praying it doesn't get any worse!!!
So I spoke too soon! Woke up this morning and one of my fading pimples on my left cheek was painful to the touch and a sort of raised bump this morning. By the time I got home from work it was a huge pimple with a big white head on it! I popped the whitehead and cleaned it out, just looks a little swollen now and red but it is going down... UGH! I jinxed myself yesterday! Also a small pimple that was sort of just a skin colored bump on my right cheek has turned a little more red and its a little painful but it isn't very big at all and not too noticeable so I am leaving it alone.
The purplish red marks on my left chin aren't fading at all and it makes me sad! Hopefully they start fading soon!
I did notice a little bit today that my chin area seemed to be a bit less oily but who knows. Lips are still feeling fine and everything else seems to be going pretty well. Still really cannot wait to get this in my system 24/7 for a long period of time and start seeing results!!
P.S. Still totally worried about this intial breakout thing I hear so much about... hopefully the gods are looking down on me and think I have suffered enough already and let it pass!
Goodnight everyone will post tomorrow!
Good evening everyone... just took pill #4, really looking forward to finally taking one pill everyday at the end of this week. I keep getting confused which days I am supposed to take the pill so I had to label the pills with the days of the week so I wouldn't get off track (this time of year I can't keep days straight since I am working like a mad person.)
Update on things... did not wake up with any new pimples this morning! Yay! However, that is not unusual for me to go a few days without any new pimples and then get hit on day 5 or so with 3 or 4 new ones in the morning.
Still have very oily skin on my face but today my skin was dry everywhere else! Also my nose is pretty dry but I am still going to chalk up all this dryness to the Santa Ana winds. They should be gone by the end of the week so then I can really see where this dryness is coming from. Slathered on a bunch of lotion after my shower tonight and feel much better.
The 2 pimples on my forehead are gone now and only left really faint marks so that's awesome! The one on my temple has shrunk significantly and doesn't hurt anymore so hopefully it will be gone in the morning. I did not pick at it or pop it. (it was on the very side of my temple by my hairline so honestly I didn't really realize it was even there.) I have some pretty dark spots on my left cheek and left side of my chin that are easy to cover with makeup but by the end of my work day they look pretty awful. I realy want to exfoliate or put some retin-A on it but my derm told me to promise not to exfoliate too often or harshly and to stay off any topicals because it could really harm my skin due to accutane making skin thinner and more prone to injury. So I am following that advice since the last thing I need is more face issues!
I guess I don't really have anything else to say in this post but tomorrow I will add another post since pill #4 will have been in my system for 24 hours at that point. Hope everyone is doing well and don't hesitate to add your own stories, advice or comments! Thanks
Hi all, sorry I didn't post the last couple days, I got super busy with work and holiday stuff that I forgot. So today is actually day 5 of the pill being in my system but only the 3rd pill since I have been taking them every other day. (Starting this Thursday 12/8 I will be on 40mg per day).
So after pill #2 I woke up Saturday morning with 3 new pimples (2 on the forehead and one on my left temple area). The one on my temple was sort of cyst like, but the two on my forehead seemed to be screaming to pop already. So I popped the two on the forehead (BAD I know, I did it that night before bed) but I pop them with a sterile needle after I wash my face so they don't bleed very much. The formed a small scab that night and are almost gone 2 days later, however I will most likely be left with red marks.
Today (Monday) I have noticed that my pimples haven't been healing as quickly on the left side of my chin and left cheek. The right side of my face is clear except for red marks so I look a little uneven at the moment. I am not sure if the accutane has something to do with that or if it's just randomly happening.
Side effects: I haven't really noticed anything crazy yet. My skin is still very oily and my lips don't seem chapped, but then again I wouldn't really know since I am an obsessive chapstick wearer by nature. The thing I have noticed lately is that my nose is really dry inside and it doesn't bleed but when I blow it there is dried blood that comes out. This, however, could also be from the ridiculous Santa Ana winds we have been having and the really dry air.
So that's the update this far, I will update again tomorrow night (Tuesday) after I take pill #4. Wish me luck! Hope everyone is doing well
So the first pill has been in my system for about 24 hours now and the next pill isnt due until tomorrow night. Nothing to notice really so far but I definitely didn't expect anything for quite some time. I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache and upset stomach but I am not convinced that accutane caused it, I think it was just coincidence.
All in all I am feeling really good about this journey and can't wait until I start seeing results. How long does it usually take before seeing results and how far into treatment did everyone start seeing side effects or the dreaded IB??
Hi all! I am sitting here on the couch watching Tv about to take my very first Accutane pill, 40mg. A little about myself is that I am 24 and have been struggling with mild/moderate acne since I was about 13 or 14. I have tried everything from topicals to antibiotics with little to no improvement, and an accumulation of an allergy along the way. I am female, approximately 135 pounds and have been prescribed Claravis (Isotrenitoin) 40mg once a day. However, my derm is having me take one pill every other day for a week and then once a day because I am going on vacation around the 30 day mark and will run out of medication if I don't do it this way.
So here we go taking the first pill, it is Wednesday night 11/30 and I just got home from work. I am eating a little bit and having it with a full glass of water. Dfefinitely a little nervous thinking about an initial breakout possibly coming in the near future. But for now the prospect of clear skin for once in 10 years is worth it!
A descrioption of my acne is that I used to get a lot of cysts but I have been on YAZ for about 6 months and it has really helped out with that. I usually get about 3-4 new pimples a week that usually last about 2 weeks and leave nasty red and purple marks regardless if I pick at them or not. Currently I have very uneven skin and about 15 hyperpigmentation marks that makeup barely covers up. I have about 4 active pimples at the moment that seem to be on their way to healing. My skin is naturally very oily so I am looking forward to that clearing up! Here goes!
Please feel free to comment and tell me your experiences as I could really use some positive feedback as I start this journey! Thanks!!!
