well! it's been exactly a month!
the regimen has been working okay for me, also, I've added the Mario Badescu drying lotion to my arsenal and i've been 80% less red ever since! i'm really really excited to report back that my breakouts have been officially managed. my face is no longer puffy... my skin is not red everytime a little bit of pressure is applied.. no more icky leaky puss situation.. :D
I'm happy. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
the zit on my jaw hurts. but the regimen has helped clear them faster than when I just left them on their own.
oh, I got my first Christmas present today!!! haha. just sharin'
also, i'm 25% in on A Storm of Swords.
yeah, I've been MIA for the past few days, I've been sick.
the blast of antibiotics have cleared my skin, and still do not have any active breakouts. wee
but it has also dulled my skin, although i guess i can't complain? okay. back to bed.
i have flakes no more. whew.
but i'm not back to my amped dose just yet, need to wait 2 more days and see what happens.
i'm happy!!!!!! because aside from the scars, i only have one active breakout left on my face, and that has been a huge, huge improvement.
the coast is clearing, the acne-bots retreating, VICTORY!!!
the front part of my scalp ( hairline?? that what it's called?) is flaking like crazy.. like, patch of scalp peeling....................
what the heck is this??? from the BP??
:'( i almost ran late for work because i was stuck in front of the mirror trying to manage the falling debris. i called my derma and she couldn't explain it either. I'm going to see her tomorrow if it doesn't improve today, and I'm advised to revert to my previous dose in the meantime..
i wanna cry... what is happening?? it's not itchy, it's just, flaking/peeling off.. :((
itching.. still itching~~~~~
my first ever dry patch of skin this morning!
the Stark words are true, eventually--winter is coming.
clash of kings is a long read, only 46% in. and I've been reading since friday. boo.
no new breakouts, weee. and my 2 peskers are still there, but they've gone from the hard volcano type, to the soft and mushy water balloon feel. know what i mean? anyway. back to my book--
nothing to report today, not a lot of change. peskers keep buggin me I just wanna poke at them! i know, i shouldn't, so blogging about it is all i can do not to pick! DO NOT PICK!!
okay dokay, that is it.
greetings, fellow warriors!!
my face has been bleached a shade or two lighter than my neck.. which is baaaad.. this means my foundation is in danger of being replaced ahead of budget!!
my period breakouts have hushed up. there's only 2 more of them peskers on my chin.
my BP gel is runnin low. time to top up!
So as to not confuse readers, and honestly, MY OWN SELF, this is actually my 22nd day on the BP regimen.
okay, so, last night I have upped my dose as directed. My doctor's assistant even called me to remind me of the things to watch out for in case I've put on too much too soon.
after the regimen, I felt like my face was melting off.. it was painful, continued to has this burning effect for a long time. my doctor said this is to be expected. but still, I was told to check my face in the mirror for signs of redness, which means I've gone too far. except for the acne spots itself, my face was not red, so I just waited it out. it all calmed down just in time for bed, and I was thankful.
the next day, my skin was noticeably clearer, the tiny dots threatening to go full blown have retreated. VICTORY WAS MINE.
i just hope tonight's gonna be different, I don't think I can get used to the burning sensation.
off to bed after washing my face!
there's a painful "underground" one on the right side of my chin..
on the bright side, everywhere is clearing up. this one's just period breakout, I know that.
gaa, and I'm so moody! I feel like I'm about to explode sometimes.
so today I tried just putting a quarter the amount of BP I'm supposed to use?
well, it still rubbed off, even though I waited an hour before putting on my foundation. but it's much tolerable now, at least it's not scale-y or anything, unlike yesterday. I just hope lowering the dose does not aggravate my condition.
oh, and the period breakouts are here. yay.
I tried BP in the morning over makeup this morning. it's flaking!!!! and peeling!! and getting rubbed off!!! and.. it looks horrible peeking through my foundation!!!
so... BP is a no-no in the morning.. or maybe only half the amount I'm supposed to? or should I not put any at all instead??
