Day 6

Ahhhh. Broke out a little bit on my chin. Only upside to that is that they aren't lasting nearly as long as they would before. Face started to peal around my mouth. Skin feels terrible. I keep on saying it feels like leather, but i can't help but hate it. Even with the acne and such, my skin was always soft. It's so dry. The lotion wasn't working one bit so i started to use some Cetaphil. SO much better. My skin wasn't liking the liquid lotion so much. I think all it needed was a heavier cream. Besides the new pimples on my chin, the old ones are fading a tiny bit. Happy about that since they're really noticeable. I've been posting pictures of my progress. If anyone is curious you can go check them out.

Day 5

Well. Did the Regimen today like usual. Wasn't very dry until i had washed it at night. Before i even put the BP on, it was starting to peel a little around my mouth and left cheek. Skin feels leathery. Tight. I didn't use the lotion that came with it and i'm glad i didn't. It doesn't burn as much. Face has been red all day. Looks and feels like a sunburn. BUT. I'm seeing an improvement in my pictures that i have been taking show. I can honestly deal with the burning and the red face and a little peeling if it means i can get rid of this crap on my face. I really hope it doesn't peel like crazy though. I'm debating on getting a different cleanser. This one dried out my face like crazy. I guess i'll wait to see if it gets worse. Got a few new pimples but they're so tiny so it's nothing even bothering me. Eh. Only thing that really bothers me is the leathery feeling. Every time i smile, the creases around my mouth get deeper. Like trying to smile with a facial mask.

Day 4

Woke up and did the Regimen. After i washed my face with the Cleanser, it felt very dry and burned. Skin felt a little dry all day and when i put a small amount my makeup powder on my face, i noticed it looked a little dry. Nothing noticeable to other people but to me i could tell. When i did the Regimen at night though, it had BURNED. But the weird thing is that it's only red on and around my nose. I did notice my pimples haven't been so red during the day. Face at the moment feels very tight. Burns around my mouth and nose. Is it weird that i like the feeling of it burning? Makes me feel there's strong stuff at work. heh. I would also like to point out that i have tried Proactive a while back. Did NOTHING. I honestly think it made my skin even worse. I tried a bunch of drugstore brands and still nothing. Since i've read so many good things about The Regimen, i have to at least try it. If it doesn't work..well then at least i made the effort.

Day 3

Started the Regimen on Thursday. Todays Saturday. Didn't get to start this until now. I have combination skin. It get's very dry after i wash my face but as the day progresses it gets oily. I have mild-moderate acne. I get cystic acne(though not all over my face) but one or two about every two to three months. I had serious cystic acne two years ago that had left scars on my cheeks. Now i have one on my left cheek that has been there for almost two months. Started to cluster and get more around it. I usually get my acne on my cheeks and around my chin and mouth. I get new acne every week. I used to have beautiful skin in HS but around 3 to 4 years ago my skin had went berserk and broke out with cystic acne. Haven't gone a day without acne on my face since then. I was surprised on how fast it had arrived at my house seeing on how it was a holiday weekend. So far no redness, itching, but a little bit of a burning sensation. Nothing too extreme. A tiny bit tight but not bad. Makes my skin feel tingly. Feels nice. Was afraid the lotion wasn't going to be enough for my skin (it dries out VERY easily) but it's wonderful. I had used two pumps of lotion the first time (never will i do THAT again) and it was WAY WAY too much. So now only one pump. I've been taking pictures of my skin every day so i can see the progress (if there will be). I'm very optimistic about this!! Keeping positive thoughts about this regimen. Keeping a blog also so i can keep track to what it's doing to me.
