It all started my Junior year in high school. I started getting pretty bad acne out of the blue. I felt really embarrassed about it and sometimes didn't even want to go out with friends. I hated looking at myself in the mirror. I remember one doctor visit my old doctor told me to buy benzol cream for my acne. I used the cream but it didn't seem to work.
One day my Dad said he would order me ProActive. I decided to give it a try. To my surprise it worked....but only for a while. Eventually I stopped using it and used common products from CVS and RiteAid. One product that really messed up my skin was Clearasil face wash. It literally burned the skin right below my lower lip on my chin.
From then on here is a quick summary of my skin:
Senior year of high school: skin cleared up
College: skin was pretty clear due to BC pills
I started breaking out again the begining of 2010. I feel this was partly due to the new BC pills I was taking. In desperation, I decided to try ProActive again since they have a money back guarantee. Just like before, it worked for a little while and then it stopped. I started getting those big cyst bumps that don't get white and are just big, red, and hurt really bad. I took the ProActive back to get my refund. After this, I tried many other store products and nothing worked!! FINALLY I tried the Regimen on this site and I've already seen much improvement! It is defintely different than what I'm used to. I was shocked that it said to only wash your face 10 seconds or less! The key is to be gentle in order to avoid irratation and more breakouts. If you have tried every product out there and nothing is working than try the Regimen. I used the following products in the Regimen:
Cetaphil face wash and moisterizer and AcneFree Benzol gel (2%) all are inexpensive and easily accessible.
