I LOVE WEEKENDS<3 got to see ke$ha and b.o.b last night, which was sick. BUT.. my skin was not cooperating. i had a pimple on my cheek and one very close to my nose, not cute. but i'll live. it's getting sooo much better. scars are fading, everything fading, and existing pimples last for like day or or two! field hockey just ended so i'm hoping less sweating and stuff will also clear it up. anywayy, hanging with ma boy tonight:) my skins looks great right now! this clinique stuff reallly reallly reallllly works!
Woahh it's been a while.. long busy weekend. Let's start by saying, i stayed at a friends house then went directly to a soccer game then to a tournament where we stayed overnight in a hotel. Where i had a little...breakdown about my skin. i noticed how perfect all my other team mates skin were and it was killing me. But i did my best, got through it. My mom promised to take me to get this "blue light treatment" that erasers pimples for a few months, so you have to do it a few times year. But when i got home, my skin look good. i don't mean clear, just better than it has been in so long! the redness is GONE, the bumps are being erased, and the pimples are clearing within days! i'm live in heaven here. i did have to stay home from school today for laryngitis, but i'm going to use this as a day to give my face a break from all the makeup. friday is a big concert i'm supposed to go to with my boyy:) so i hope it keeps improving by then! anyway, this stuff is a miracle product! i sweearrr to anyone, clinique acne solutions is worth it! the first week it may improve or get a little worse, mine seemed to flip flop back and forth, but now onto week two it's soooo much better! i can't wait for the 4 week mark!
Mkayy, i just want to start out saying i've never seen such fast results in an acne product, ever! This stuff just keeps impressing me over and over again. There's one little downside, it makes my skin tight and feels like it's gonna rip. I'm hoping that's just a side effect until i get used to the product, but i can say no peeling and that's a huge plus! I woke up today to a less red/less pimply face and was thrilled! My makeup is continuing to do it's job and cover up all day, i can look in the mirror and not feel terrible about myself anymore! Also, when using the Differin i noticed my face was EXTREMELY oily by mid-morning, with this stuff, not at all. My skin is smooth, soft, not oily, pretty much better than it's been in a whileee. I did feel a pimple coming in under the skin so i asked my mom to purchase the Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel which is also by Clinique. It's some pretty strong stuff let me tell you! you can feel is working the minute it's applied, i'm hoping it works to keep this sucker from coming up because it already hurt a little. Hopefully by tomorrow morning it'll be smaller and less painful. I'll keep everyone updated! P.S. i had to go from school to practice to watch a soccer game to dinner with my field hockey team, and usually i would have to go re-apply my makeup after practice then before dinner, not the case today! when i went to the bathroom after practice i was thrilled to see my face looking so good and clear! this stuff is really helping in every way possible:)
Alright guys, here's a little run down of myself. I'm 16 years old, fair skinned, and just started getting acne pretty bad this year. I'm a sophomore, and as a freshmen i had the occasional break out/pimple or two but nothing enough to worry me. Just this summer my skin FREAKED OUT and i started getting acne pretty bad (or i would say so at least) and i tried an array of different products. AcneFree, over the counter Clean and Clear products, nothing worked. So i went to the derm and she told me to use Differin cream, take Minocycline, and wash my face with a Benzoyl Peroxide wash. I consulted with some friends who were also using Differin and heard some pretty good reviews. I started it all excited for my skin to clear up, and was totally bummed when 5 weeks later, no change. I had days were i couldn't even look at myself in the mirror, i felt so gross. I wasn't hanging out with my friends because they had such nice skin i just felt terrible around them. Then two days ago, i was going to the mall with my mom and had a breakdown about it. She took me into Macy's, had the lady do my make up and show me how to cover up everything really well, which i was really happy about. Then we went to the Clinique counter, and purchased the 3 step Acne Solutions Kit. I immediately read the reviews, which most people said they saw a difference in 2 - 3 days! I'm stocked to use this stuff. I started yesterday night, and am pretty impressed. I felt a pimple coming in yesterday, and it's already less red, smaller, and doesn't hurt as much. I'm gonna keep updating every few days, leave comments and let me know if any of you used Differin, and what your results were, or if anyone used Clinique Acne Solutions, and what your outcome was from it.
Alright, so i'm extremely pleased with this product so far. It's help with all these little under the skin bumps i used to have around my mouth, they're slowly going away. I did get a pimple yesterday:( but it's already smaller this morning, still pretty red though but i can live with it. I have also noticed my skin is sooo much smoother! I can't remember ever sliding my hand across my face and thinking "wow! this is super soft!" My skin did feel a little tight at the beginning of yesterday, so i tired not to smile too big or move my face too much as to prevent peeling or cracking and it worked. By about mid-day i noticed the tightness was gone and it felt great! Another thing, my makeup stayed on through the day! This is a hugee accomplishment for me, because usually by mid-day it wears off and all the little red marks are visible, but that was not the case yesterday, and i am super happy about that. Hopefully the same goes for today:) I've noticed there are a lot of Accutane related posts going up.. Accutane is for severe acne, right? I doubt all of these people actually have severe acne, and if you're like me, 4 or 5 pimples may make it seem severe, but i'm guaranteeing you the Clinique Acne Solutions is heaven sent! Just try it before you take the leap to Accutane which can be months before you see results, while with this stuff it's a week or two.
