Economics Papers

Had my economics papers today, feeling pretty alright about it. Didn't complete the essay paper but I guess it's alright. At least the problem is time management instead of a lacking in content. Anyway, because of the exam period, I've been studying alot, getting little sleep, eating junk food (studying outside at fast food restaurants/coffee places) and being really stressed. I think it's really showing on my face, my unhealthy lifestyle right now. I'm not happy about it, but I'm not as bothered about it as I normally would be because right now I'm too focused on my studies to care what people think. My acne got really bad though. Today my economics teacher said 3 times to me that my acne was really really bad. Lol. I was a little shocked and hurt that he said that but nah I'm not mad at him. It's just his character to be straight-forward. Plus he's a nice + good teacher. Today is tuesday, last exam on thursday (lit paper). Can't wait for tomorrows Geography papers to be over. Going out to study soon (at a fast food restaurant again lol), so bye!!

D:

Skin was looking pretty nasty today, school starts tmr (technically today since it's 1:27am) and I slathered BP all over my face already. Hopefully my face looks more decent tomorrow. It's so inflamed today. Gonna continue my regimen though. BP at night, moisturiser in the morning. If by the end of next week my skin isn't better I'll change my regimen I guess? Gonna get some fibre capsules when my exams end (last paper this thursday). Or whenever I'm free to go scouting for capsules. Kind of busy studying now. Okay bye peeps! Wish me all the best for my economics papers tmr! (today for anal readers! haha)

Face not too good today.

Day 1 or 2 (can't remember?) of my own regimen, face not looking too good. So tempted to follow Dan's regimen again (with my 10% BP of course) but it turns my skin really red, despite showing results. Sigh. What to do.... I shall continue with my own regimen. BP at night, moisturiser in the morning. Night

Self-drained my left cheek cyst.

Carried out a mini surgery in my bathroom, was really excited about getting all the gunk out of my cyst! -First, I bathed (washed face with cetaphil in the process of doing so). -After I was done I used a cloth dipped in hot water to liquidify the gunk in the cyst, for easier drainage. -Used a sterilised, fine needle and poked through the cyst head/opening/entrance to create a better entrance for the gunk to come out, making it easier to squeeze out. -Disinfected my hands, made sure my face and hands were dry, then squeezed away at the cyst sac/wall! At first nothing came out. ): Then after trying many different angles of squeezing, white pus came out!!!! Jackpot! I was so happy. I thought that my cyst was being successfully killed/weakened. Sadly, not much white pus came out. After one or two squeezes, blood + clear liquid started to ooze out. Squeezed plenty of clear liquid out. When I couldn't get any more liquid out, the sac was still hard, with some solid gunk still inside. That made me real sad D: D: D: Couldn't do much after the home surgery so I just ensured that all the liquid was done oozing out, washed my left cheek with cetaphil, dried the skin with a tissue and put BP all over my face. I put a HUGEEEEE amount of BP on the cyst. I'm hoping to dry out the cyst so much such that it'll come to head again, so I can squeeze out more gunk in future, and perhaps after a few more "squeezings" the sac/wall will be well, empty of gunk and hopefully with continually drying of the sac using BP, it won't fill up again. Cystic acne is truly the most horrendous, disgusting forms of acne one can get. Tender, long term, unsightly, confidence shattering, annoying. So irritating. I wish we were all just born with perfectly flawless skin. ANYWAY, I was just watching cyst sac removal vids online. And they are SICK. The cyst removal vids online are just disgusting. But somehow, I can't stop watching them. It's kind of fascinating, how much pus can come out from the skin! Don't believe me? Watch the sickest cyst removal I've ever seen in my whole entire life here:

Holy Molls, my cyst came to head!!!

Like, JUST!!!! And I actually FELT IT oozing out of the head. I was in the toilet and my cyst area felt weird. I thought it was just having some cystic activity (y'know like a volcano or something. Lol.) And well, it really was cystic activity. ERUPTION OF MOUNT CYST!! WOOHOOOOOO!! Never thought this would've happened so soon. HAPPY! Thought it would take months after reading other peoples' experiences. Okay. Now what on earth do I do? Squeeze it? Drain the crap outta it? Leave it alone? o.O Oh man. Okay. Time to research. Bye!!!! (oh yeah, btw my cyst head is dark coloured. so odd. is this like, normal? o.O)

Officially Off The Regimen

Since I was never really precise in following it anyways! My own version of the Regimen (10% BP, mix of sunscreen with moisturiser) wasn't working well with the regimen steps. Dan is right, 10% is way too harsh. Thus I cannot follow his regimen with my large supply of 10% BP in my possession. Lol. Created my own regimen with the same products he recommended (Cetaphil, BP albeit it being 10%, moisturiser). It's really simple. Started my own regimen, and my face is looking fabulous! Morning - moisturiser with spf, no mixing of any additional sunscreen with it. Skin really really really dry, flaky and unsightly from the 10% BP, therefore no BP in the day/as part of the morning regimen. Night - as of now my temporary regimen shall be 2.5% BP (I have some leftover proactive repairing lotion which has 2.5% BP) all over acne prone areas, and then spot treat with the 10% BP, avoiding non 3D zits. I rub in the 10% BP cream into the zits. (gently) and after I finish rubbing it in I put more BP over them just to cover up (dry the shit outta the 3D zits, yeah!!!) Okay I gtg now. Need to bathe. Bye! Fight on fellow acne sufferers!

Day 5

Yesterday after I posted up till today, I noticed that the areas where I apply the BP and moisturiser have been very red. Despite my acne being much better (zits all reduced in size), my face looks like I wore googles, stayed out in the sun for an entire day and got badly sunburnt. ): So this morning I didn't put moisturiser over the BP. I don't think I can mix the two anymore, they seem to react badly together. And it shows on my face. So my new plan is to put solely the BP in the morning and at night. Whenever my face gets too dry, I'll put moisturiser in the morning. Sounds like an okay plan to me. Hope my acne gets better! Anyway progress for my acne today: General reduction of small zits all over, but for the bigger zits they're all purging. (all coming to head, white head showing) Feeling quite alright about my progress K bye peeps!

Day 4 and already seeing RESULTS!!! :D

This morning after I did the regimen, my skin was kind of stinging from the moisturiser + tiny amount of oil free sunblock over the BP. My skin has been a little red during the day since going on the regimen, but I think it's cuz of the sunblock I add in with the moisturiser. Or perhaps its just the moisturiser. But seriously who knows and who CARES?! I'VE STARTED SEEING AMAZING RESULTS! My acne-fied face was much clearer, with the 3d zits all reducing in size. It's really awesome man the regimen/BP or whatever it is that made it shrink. I was really in shock upon looking at my face when I got home in the evening. In the morning it was like, better than the day before. But when I got back this evening, I seriously saw a difference. The zits were all so much smaller!!!! I really feel so much prettier/more confident now. You know how it is when we acne sufferers are in public and we feel like people are scrutinising our acne-fied faces, thinking to themselves how "dirty" we are and how "clean" they are? I now feel so much more confident about my face because they can no longer say that about me! Okay maybe they still will, but they can't say as much! Because my acne has been tamed! Woohoo. I honestly didn't expect to get visible results on day 4. I was looking through all the photo galleries of random people's journeys with the regimen, and they seemed to only get visible results after months and months of being on it. Perhaps I got results quicly due to the BP being 10%? And further more my skin isn't exactly very dry. It's like, slightly dry. It's only dry to the touch but not to the eye. I guess the moisturisers I'm using are good. In the day I mix my Garnier long lasting shine control moisturiser (Pure line, it's blue in colour) with the coppertone oil free sun screen, and at night I just slather on Simple's hydrating light moisturiser. I love the Simple moisturiser, I somehow like the smell despite it not being scented o.O and I love how it doesn't sting, unlike the garnier mixed with the sunscreen! Tomorrow I'm not going to add sunscreen to my moisturiser. Fight on people! The regimen is working wonders for me so persevere!

Day 3

The bigger zits seem to have become smaller, but there seems to be more smaller zits popping up today. I took a look at pictures from day 1 to day 3 and I noticed that my face seems to be getting redder, and more inflamed. I really hope that this is the purging process. And I really hope that I'll wake up with smaller, less noticeable zits tomorrow. Die zits, die!!!

Day 2

Woke up this morning and upon looking at my face in the mirror I seriously did NOT feel like going to school to study. But I had to, since I absolutely cannot study at home. Did the morning regimen, it's 12midnight now and I'm about to bathe and do the night regimen at the same time. You know what, I have a really good feeling about the regimen. I think it's going to work. Today my zits "ripened", y'know how they are when the white head appears? Yeah. I think it's going through the purging stage now, which is good right? Hopefully the regimen will permanently keep zits away. Die acne die!!! Okay gotta go bathe and sleep early. Better get in at least 6 hours of sleep. Fight on fellow acne sufferers!

Day 1

Yesterday I came acoss Acne.org, and I spent one entire afternoon going through the entire site. I really liked this site as I felt that Dan's purpose was not to market his products to us but to actually help us acne sufferers. So after I was done reading stuff of the site, I headed out and bought myself - coppertone oil free faces (sunblock), spf 15 - cetaphil gentle skin cleanser When I got home that eveing, I followed the regimen steps exactly, and this morning I did the same. I'm so excited about the regimen, I really hope that it works I'm doing two things that are not following the regimen though, and these two things are 1. I mix the coppertone in with my moisturizer for sun protection. My face stings slightly during the day, but it's not exactly painful. I hope this doesn't affect my results. 2. I use oxy 10 (10% BP) instead of a 2.5% BP cream. This is because there isn't any oxy 2.5 BP cream left in the stores, I think it didn't sell well so they took it off the racks There are other alternative 2.5 BP creams (theres neutrogena here in the stores) but brands other than oxy are kinda pricy. Sigh, acne sucks. I've had acne for half my life and it sucks. I started when I was 10 or 11, and now I'm 18 this year. I feel so self conscious of my face, and although I wasn't born ugly, acne made me feel ugly. I think I'm going to start a photo log, starting today Anyway more details about me! -I live in a tropical equatorial climate - perfect for acne to take over my life and ruin it -I've been very active all my life. I was in gymnastics from 8-12, dance from 13-16 and soccer from 17-18(for about slightly more than a year). Perhaps the aforementioned factors contributed to my acne? My parents don't have acne. They have pretty good skin. But my sister and brother had mild acne. In my family, I've got the WORSE acne. I have moderate acne, because I've had two cysts in my entire life. And they SUCK. Let me tell you all about my first cyst. My first cyst was horrible. It grew on my face when I was 11 or 12. And it lasted for about a year or two. I only got rid of it when I was 12 or 13. It completely disfigured me because me being an ignorant child, thought it was a huge zit and just squeezed the shit out of it. And it hurt. So, it turned blueish blackish. And it was on the right side of my mouth. So when I smiled, it hurt. And I didn't look/feel pretty for 2 years or so! Can you imagine how traumatic that was for me as a child? Sigh. I felt like such an ugly duckling. Kids would ask me what that was on my face. Thankfully after a jab at the derm's, the cyst went down. I hope it never comes back. HOWEVER. This year I got a cyst again. Seriously fml. It's on my left cheek and its tender and painful. It hasn't gotten infected yet and I seriously dunno what to do with it other than put sulphur/bp creams. Okay, blog some other time Bye! Fight on fellow acne sufferers!
