Oh crap.

CAMPING. My skin is really going to break out. I love camping. It upsets me that I always have to be worrying about my face when I'm suppose to be having a fun and worry free time. GOOD NEWS... The secret to taking care of acne is DIET. SUPPLEMENTS. TOPICALS. I'm going to win this fight! I'm thinking of trying Eucerin Original, Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry moisturizer, or an Aveeno moisturizer to help with my flaky skin.

Jojoba Oil

I want to try taking 5-10 drops of jojoba oil after I cleanse my face in the morning and massage it in my skin. I'll leave it on for 2-5 minutes and wipe. I'm also using the St. Ives Green Tea scrub to help with flaky skin. I started taking Niacinamide because my dermatologist told me about it. I also want to take alpha lipoic acid. So how is my skin doing? Not very good... I still don't wash my makeup off every night. I break out bad enough already but when I don't wash off my makeup I wake up looking even worse! I'm always exhausted and my head hits the pillow before I wash off my makeup. It's a terrible habit. I just really want these acne bumps and scars to disappear

Adding to my routine

My acne was getting better but now it's acting up again. I notice when I wear less makeup my skin stays clearer. I want to start taking a multivitamin. Tumeric/Ginger and lycopene supplements should also help my skin to stay clear. I also want to try yoga to help me relax. I'm using an AHA retexturizing peel. It helps me to have smooth skin but it contains way too much alcohol. I'd like to find a better AHA product.

My goal

Every morning I wash with a prescribed 4% benzoyl peroxide creamy acne wash. I then put on benzoyl peroxide and my moisturizer. Three times a day I take 1000 mg of fish oil. At night I wash with a regular cleanser and apply my prescribed Atralin gel after the salicylic acid/AHA+. I've started using all of these products in the beginning of April. I'm giving it three months to see some real improvement. I have a problem with washing off my makeup at night. This could be delaying my improvement. I have a really hard time with it because I wear makeup every day. I can't go without it because I look terrible. I have acne and I have an even worse case of acne scars. I really want to achieve beautiful flawless skin without makeup. I will continue to use this regimen and try to wash off my makeup every night to achieve my goal. Wish me luck everyone!
