Day 5 with Tazorac at night. Also doing Duac in the morning. Today peeling started, maybe a little bit last night but today lots of skin came off, mostly chin area. More irritation and reddness on my chin and overall on my face. Cetphil I think was just sitting on top of my skin, felt really greasy and I think it might have been making my face sting and feel red and irritated. This new moisturizer feels SO great. Going to do Tazorac every other night. On mornings where I do NOT
Dermatologist Appt this morning. Skin in a state of "going to break out soon" I have lots of bumps underneath, more are forming, I can feel painful twinges, puffy, swollen, dry, RED, irritated, blotchy. big pores and blackheads all over forehead and nose and cheeks, lots of red marks, brown marks. Feel like I am starting from Day 1. Which I am. Hoping to rule out anything I might have a reaction to or that a combination of something might not be working for my skin. Starting off with just
Quick Update: All of my reaction, bumps, rash is completely gone. Cyst on chin is slowly healing. Still very red and big and raised. Lots of unevenness, redness, peeling skin on one side. One spot on upper cheek acting up but so far its small. Rest of face feels ok but looks like lots of large pores and blackheads. Chin: always problem area. Right side: little bumps coming up. Anxious to get to my dermatologist appt. next wednesday. Then I can schedule an appt.
The past week has been up and down. My sun rash bumps are completely gone. I can't believe how gross the rash was and how long it took to go away. But just glad it's gone and no scars or marks. I used the locoid lotion night and day. i think it might have helped but also the fact that the rash was already on it's way to healing. Had a pretty bad cyst on my chin. it came to the surfaced and drained a little bit. All along my right side of my chin I have a line of about 8 bumps (sma
Appt. Today with Dermatologist What I thought was sun poisoning turned out to be a reaction from the MICRODERMABRASION I was very nervous when I got this done....rightfully so My doctor said my skin was too sensitive and the esthetician was too rough and too aggressive with the device. He took me off all of my regimen for 10 days. I got samples of LOCOID. a prescription of hydrocortisone lotion. Makes me hopeful that I got in to the office today and got this checked out.

Sun Poisoning/Polymorphous Light Eruption Was in the sun a bit on a short walk and ended up getting hundreds of tiny red bumps all across my eyes, underneath, nose, forehead, between eyebrows, its really bad. really inflamed. looks horrible. Completely my fault. Just frustrating knowing that I need to just wait it out and nothing I can do about it. Last time I didnt know what it was and started using an exfoliator and think it made me breakout more. Looking forward to this
10:00 AM Appointment I was VERY nervous because I had never had any kind of skin treatment done. I was shaking and nervous because I didn't know what to expect and didn't know exactly what she was going to do. I was nervous because I thought it was going to be painful and might irritated my skin and make me breakout MORE or make cysts appear where it was just a little bump. Microdermabrasion: felt like sandpaper rubbed hard all over my face, HURT a lot, less painful on forehead but o
Tomorrow it will be one week since changing to this regimen. I think the 4.5% BP wash was really irritating my skin and making everything worse. It burned, stung and was painful while washing my face. It has a grittiness to it that was really rough on my sensitive skin. I really wanted DIFFERIN and BP wash to work. It was tough to face the fact that this might not work for me and that I feel as though I wasted 4 months having consistently horrible breakouts. But moving on and hopeful.
Previous 4 months: Differin .3% at night. 4.5% BP wash morning and night.
