I'm currently 22, have had acne for about 9 years. Tried each of the retinoids at almost every available concentration (adapalene, tretinoin and tazarotene), minimal success with each. Also used various formulations of clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide to no avail. Have been on various oral antibiotics for 7 years (minocycline, doxycycline, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, each 2X) and had excellent success with each, but always only for a short period.
I figure my skin's going to get a lot worse once I go off the antibiotics, but there's not much I can do about that - I'm more focused on the long-term result.
Here's my skin two months ago, when my acne had developed resistance to my antibiotic (Bactrim, at the time):

I'll be starting on 40 mg Amnesteem bid in 7 days.
