Comparison

Photo 1 is my skin on day 1 of accutane. Photo 2 is today, day 46. In comparison it doesn't look much different but in my head the cysts on my cheek and the constant red tint skin make it seem way worse

Need to customize Acne.org regimen as per your own skin's need

My Intro- Hi all. I have been an acne sufferer for 20 years. I had given up on all skincare products after trying for several years fruitlessly. First gust of relief came in 2015 when I watched a success story on youtube about the Regimen and landed on acne.org. website: Best takeaway from acne.org- 1. I started using BP for topical treatment (very small quantity) along with Nutrogena Combination Skin Moisturizer. It worked very well for 3-4 years. 2. Dan is probably the only

Day 44

My skin is mostly red spots so it covers easier with makeup. I bought an aloe plant for my apartment and i heard aloe is great for the skin so i put some of the gel on my dry patches last night before bed and it actually helped a lot. No new side effects but my dose is super low.

1 Month!

Hi Everyone! I’m really proud I made it to 1 month guys. It’s been a wild ride. Week 4 has seen only a little change. I dare say it looks a little better. But I’ll let you be the judge of that. As usual, discussion will be below. Progress pics at the bottom.  What I’m experiencing: The dryness from last week has not changed much. Skin feels a bit tight and flaky. The dead skin mask is real. Its gross. But I’m living with it. Breakouts come and go. A couple days ago, I swear I felt 4 na

Day 33

My skin is doing okay today... my cheeks and chin keep switching off what sides are bad. I did pop the two on my cheek because they were huge whiteheads and I have no self control so i already know those are going to scar. I leave for the beach tomorrow so just loaded up on suncreens(: exactly 2 weeks until I move back to school so fingers crossed....

Week 3

Hi everyone! We made it to week 3. I wish I could say all of my problems are over and my skin is glowing and flawless. Unfortunately, I’ve hit some roadblocks along the way; increased breakouts, worsening dryness and granular texture. To summarize, week 3 felt like a step backward. In-depth discussion below but otherwise, progress pics are at the bottom.    What I’ve been experiencing: I’ve had some big breakouts this week that I’m still recovering from. My skin seems to break out

Day 31

Okay so my blood work came back and my cholesterol already sky rocketed. My dermatologist told me that because of this she cannot increase my dosage by as much as she wanted too because it will only increase my cholesterol as well. Also, something with my insurance so now I am taking Myorisan 30mg instead of Claravis 20mg.  Anyways thats all thats new with me in the beginning of my second month.
