8 months in, no sign of slowing down. Larger hairs have been falling out less, and the shedding on the back of my head has started to pick up more. Now there is not a single spot on my head which isn't suffering from hair shedding.
1. Had a mild breakouts on chin and lower face where mask is covered. Realized that O'Keeffe's spf lip balm was the cause. I suspected it was the lime peel oil in it which caused irritation.
2. Since stopping O'Keeffe's, skin become stabilized. I also learned that it's better for my skin to apply tretinoin and azlaic acid first then the mosituriser. Since changing to this order, my skin is NOT flaking anymore.
3. Eucerin advanced repair cream is so good! I finally found a moisturiz
Hello, I'm back with updates
Okay, so I've been inactive for over a year. I can't believe how fast time goes by. I've been off Accutane for almost a year and a half now! If you followed my story, then you are probably wondering how my skin is doing.
My skin has remained almost completely clear. I don't really get any big pimples anymore, which I can't explain how thankful I am for that. I mean sometimes around the time of my period I get one or two very very tiny whiteheads, but that
29 years ago my dad ended up taking accutane, which i'm guessing mutated his red blood cells to end up with polycythemia rubra vera. anyways we lost him 2 days ago because they couldn't move him from icu to surgery without risking his heart stopping (he had part of his small intestine removed the first time in icu which he aggravated his condition taking himself too hard with his department manager duties at Real Canadian Superstore after getting out resulting in a hernia operation and later a
If you are reading this, don't lose hope. I think this is going to help you. (I'm from the Philippines btw)
I'm 28 right now, and have had to fight acne for 8 years.
*College days, stress at peak levels, all that stuff. Boom, 1 pimple appeared, tried to pop it. The next day, it came with reinforcements. And another one. Time for some face wash. Yep it feels good, and clean. I want that squeaky clean. A few days passed, nothing's working. *Keeps popping* Now it's bad. Al
The pink bottle Biore sunscreen milk is irritating not only my face ( break me out mildly) but also my body: legs and arms (itchy contact dermititis)... I thought it was mosquito bites but then realized it's not... (this sunscreen contains talc.)
I also confirmed that the ordinary caffeine serum is irritating to my skin, make my face itch and break me out mildly... Not sure what is the trigger.
Last night I had to wash my face with vanicream gentle cleanser 3 times to r
So this shampoo was left by a friend who moved away... No one in the house is using this so I went ahead and used it to wash my makeup brush... It's so freakingly heavily fragranced with this men's smell.. the smell lingers very long time.. after my brush dried and I use the brush, it made my face super itch!!!!! I thought it was the powder/ nyx nofilter finishing powder, then I tried it with another brush which was used for a while; not right after washed and dried, it was not super itch, just
Hey, I’m a 17 soon 18 year old boy. I’m wondering if my acne is severe or what it is. Will it fade away with time or do I need any form of treatment? I’m looking forward for it not being nothing too serious!
Mmm just figured another trigger ingredient for me... Niacinamide...
I couldn't figure out why when I tried the dermatology tinted sunscreen SPF 46 my face itched like crazy I washed it off immediately. I returned it... That was long time ago... Today I applied cetaphil mineral liquid sunscreen SPF 50 my face itched again... on another hand it kind of irritated my eyes... Then I remembered same feeling when I used la Roche posay the cica balm and lipikar eczema cream.. same itch on my face.
I finally figured what are my acne triggers.. oil and talc.
Any 100% straight up oil (jojoba, argan, sweet almond, oilve, coconut, mtc, mineral oil)
Any cleansing oil (tiss, dhc, kose speedy, shu uemura, fancl)
High Talc containing face powders (setting powder, blush, bronzer) talc that is listed as the first ingredient.. not sure if is listed second lol..
Current skin care routine
Vanicream gentle cleanser

It's been a while. My last post on this website was 6 years ago.
I stopped visiting after I found a skincare regimen that mostly worked for me. My issues were oily skin, pustules, and sebaceous filaments. Most of this was clustered right on my nose, which caused many years of embarrassment and self-consciousness for me. I was fortunate that my acne was mild/moderate, but it was still gross looking.
Nowadays, my skin is still as oily as ever. I suspect that will never change, but the di

Probably worst week in terms of new spots and redness. Spots starting to appear on my forehead which hasn’t been the case for a few years. Hopefully this is the medication working it’s way through the less stubborn areas and begins calming down within the next few weeks.
the photos you see were taken in natural lighting aka the WORST lighting other than overhead lights that make my scars light up like it’s Christmas lol.
I suffer from the aftermath of severe cystic hormonal acne that I battled with for many years in my teens. Being the dumb invincible teenage that I was, I didn’t realize what my future face was going to look like by neglecting to get proper treatment and picking at my skin.
I am currently using topical clynd
Skin feels smoother and less sore. Spots showing up in same places with more whiteheads showing but seem to calm down after 2-3 days. Worst week so far following the second week where the skin felt less irritated. These seems to be common with Differin use.
Skin doesn’t seem as dry this week, however still a little sore especially after coming out of the shower and applying moisturiser, calms down straight away though. less spots developed around cheek except for one or two which came Saturday night. Noticing a few spots coming above both eyebrows which is different.
red irritation around jawline (left) and general redness on cheek (right). Three/ four whiteheads developed on forehead. 4/5 whiteheads developed on jawline (left). Overall face quite irritated and feels as though the skin is losing its top layer and the skin feels quite fragile
PHOTOS: I just took these. Im wearing the BP have have a mini breakout (wow... 1-2 pimples is a breakout now lol)
I like to update this blog every time I come back to buy more products. I started in June of 2017 and it's now Jan of 2021!
I currently ONLY use the BP. I still put a pretty generous amount on my skin, but my skin does not dry out anymore. The one thing that sucks is that the BP bleaches anything I sleep in. So I have a designated pillow cover, only wear white shirts or bra
I used to have a clear skin until I turned 22. I thought I was the lucky one in our Acne- ridden family, but no. It didn't skip me, it just took its time.
I am 26 now and still battling acne
Everything changed since then. Before, I had a very simple skincare routine and often praised by friends and family members about my spotless skin and asked about my skincare routine.. which I didn't really have. Just a simple face wash and that's it.
Fast forward to 3 years, acne is still he
I took two courses of 40 mg accutane for 5 months each but acne came back in its nodular and cystic form . So i took 20 mg accutane daily+Azithromycin 500 mg thrice a week and continued this for a month. After that i started taking 20 mg accutane on every 15th day only and things are fine mentally and aesthetically. I am damn sure this will work for other too. These are just my experiences and I'm not responsible for any complications if you do this. So try at your own risk.
