i wouldn't say it's that good for acne cause when i used it i didn't see any difference, but when i eat a spoonful of it my acne seems to calm down the next morning so im just gonna stick to eating it instead.

Pros:

natural, vegan, seems to tighten skin and mildly exfoliate after just a few uses

Cons:

messy, since it's sugar, can attract insects in the bathroom

I only used this a few times as a vegan alternative to honey. Not that molasses is compositionally similar to honey, but molasses has a lot of great nutrients and a ph that I thought would be appropriate for acne. To my surprise, it did seem to tighten the appearance of my skin after a few uses and may have even helped clogged pores a tad. I can't speak to its long-term usefulness because I got tired of the messiness. Would be curious to see if others see long-term results. Also nice combined with a french green clay mask. Note: Blackstrap is much more nutritious than its refined counterparts.
