| Pros | Can say enough about how great this stuff is. I've been on it for about 2 weeks and i'm almost completely clear, it's amazing. |
|---|---|
| Cons | I had a little bit of an initial breakout first 2 days and then I haven't gotten 1 new pimple since which for me is incredible! |
| Bottom line | Ok so this stuff is a miracle for me. I have moderately severe acne and nothing I tried would work. And I'm talking every single topical, prescription, and antibiotic short of accutane. Nothing helped much at all, and then this zinc help me soooooo much. I can't remember the last time i was this clear, my confidence is through the roof and people are starting to notice as well! When I read these reviews I though why not and it's been great. I read on here that it could upset your stomach. I take 50mg every morning and every night, sometimes on an empty stomach and I haven't had a single problem with an upset stomach. I guess maybe I had a zinc deficiency and didn't know it? Either way this stuff is a life saver so far and hopefully it keeps up because I'm finally not self-conscious about my skin. If you have bad skin and nothing is working please give this a try, what have you got to lose? It can't be bad for you. |

| Pros | Reduces breakouts |
|---|---|
| Cons | Its advised to take with food but I still get nausua for an hour after taking |
| Bottom line | I take a 50mg tablet once a day with food. Been taking on and off for the past couple months. When I started taking zinc I was seeing less breakouts within a week, but I was doing other treatments at the same time so I wasnt sure if it was the zinc, once I stopped taking the zinc I broke out more so I am back on it and have been seeing improvement. :) |

| Pros | clears up acne |
|---|---|
| Cons | can give tummy ache |
| Bottom line | I started taking Zinc 60mg at a time and my acne cleared right up. I cut my dosage back to 30mg at a time due to the tummy aches 60mg at a time was giving me. I have stayed clear and have even been able to cut benzoyl peroxide out of my regimen. If I see a pimple coming up I take an extra 30mg Zinc and it clears up really fast. |

| Pros | Reduces oil production |
|---|---|
| Cons | Takes time hasnt fully cured acne but have hope that it would. |
| Bottom line | Ive been taking GNC zinc 50mg for 2 weeks now and i must say it has reduced oil production dramatically but it hasnt really done much on pimples.I noticed that in the first few days, i had more small zits and whiteheads which are now slowly diminishing as time goes on.However, im still keeping my hopes that it would at least clear my skin. |

| Cons | made my skin more oily |
| Bottom line | I have used chelated Zinc for 4 weeks, 2 30mg pills a day. I started to break out on my forehead (where I usually don't get acne) on the 2nd week. I've noticed that my whole face is becoming more and more oily and greasy and nasty on the 3rd week. |

| Pros | helps clear acne by aiding the immune system |
|---|---|
| Cons | none |
| Bottom line | i am 18 years old and other than the past year i had never even gotten a pimple. over the past year or so i have struggled with pretty bad acne. i take a multi-vitamin (15mg of zinc) plus one 50 mg zinc tablet daily. i started off with 65mg a day for 2 weeks and it seemed to work so i increased it to 100 mg a day but it seemed to worsen my acne so for the past week ive gone back to 65mg and all has been well. its definitely worth trying zinc. |

| Pros | Cheap, easy to acquire |
|---|---|
| Cons | I've been taking 50mg/day for about a week now and my acne's become very severe. two huge cysts and a lot of zits around the jaw line. I think it's a side effect and I'll need to stop taking zinc. I'm buying Carly's Clear & Smooth right now as I'm typing this. Age: 25 |

| Pros | I don't know... it's good for you? I guess it reduces inflammation |
|---|---|
| Cons | It doesn't really make a difference for me... |
| Bottom line | I started taking 50mg religiously for a few weeks.... i took it with vitamin d, and omega 3... It didn't make much of a difference for me, I guess when i stopped i got one cyst, but i think it might be from some other factors cause i was changing up my routine during that time... I'm starting it again just for the hell of it, but i dan is right most of the effect is probably placebo... I guess it works better for other people |
