| Bottom line | During my high school years I had a minimal amount of back acne but remedied it with Neutrogena Body Clear scrub & loofah. Anyway, it went away til now. I'm a picker (not a good thing to admit on a acne website) lol but the sun and my picking made the bumps worse and left white spots.ugh It made me self conscious to wear tanks so I went to the derm for 1st time and she recommended Ziana. I have been religliously using the stuff for 8 days now but have not noticed any difference yet. No side effects and it hasn't gotten any worse so I'll keep at it! |

| Cons | It is very harsh on the skin, so your skin needs to be extreme amounts of oil or needs to be used with moisturizers. Also, a person on this medication needs to understand the cause of acne. |
| Bottom line | Many people mistreat their acne and think that the more medication they apply and the more they wash their face, the better their acne will get; that is a completely untrue assumption. Your skin must remain a high amount of moisture when using the Ziana. I have been using with good success the CereVe hydrating cleanser and lotion on my face everyday in the morning and has helped my face and calmed breakouts. At night I use Ziana and Triaz™3% pads, my ance is 100% better, you need to be very careful with sun exposure because it will dry out your face, the only breakout I hav gotten have been after extended periods in the sun, I always use a Oil Free and non- comeogenic sunblock and try to stay in the sun as little as possible. But The system really works, don't be worried if your acne gets a little worse in the begining, you will generally adjust to Ziana and figure out how to make it work, it has been just about 2.5 months and it was worth the wait, my skin is finally clearing up and it feels great! |

| Bottom line | This product cleared my acne when literally nothing else would, but it has left my face pretty dry, which is irritating. But honestly, I'd rather have dry skin that peels occasionally than lots of pimples. I'd say it took somewhere between 1 and 2 months for my skin to totally clear up, so it works faster than a lot of other products are supposed to. Overall, I'd say this is a great product. |

| Bottom line | It worked well for about 3 weeks and then almost overnight my face dried out so badly I couldnt even put lotion on to help because it hurt so badly. I tried the nurses advice and started skipping a day in between using the gel, but my face was broken out so badly I couldnt get it back under control without it drying my skin and causing extreme peeling. |

| Bottom line | Personally, its helped me tremendously, but it has a long way to go before almost clearing my acne. But dont get me wrong, its stopped numerous zits from popping up, and it helped a lot. I would highly recommend this to people with pretty bad acne, who are tried of it and need a out. |

| Bottom line | I have been using the Ziana gel for 5 months, mostly just to finish up the tube, it has SO MUCH in it!! But it did nothing, honestly. It's gentle and non-drying, but I'd rather have something abrasive that gets the job done that I might have to pack on the lotion for. Overall, did nothing for my acne even after long-term usage. |
