It helped to clear my skin up great, but unfortunately it gave me the worst mood swings ever. I had gone on it when i started dating my boyfriend, and it wasnt until a year and a half later of trying to figure out why HE made me the bitchiest person alive, that i realized I had started dating him AND taking that pill in the same week. Realizing this I stopped taking it, and I have gone from screaming and fighting uncontrollably with him over nothing almost every night to a normal, happy, healthy relationship....a relationship that was probably saved because I realized it was that nasty pill that was turning me into a monster.

what is the difference between Yasmin and Dianne 35??...I was just prescribed Dianne 35 for my acne that won't go away. I am 23 years old and tired of having a bad face. I am experiencing bad panic attacks and can't breath.

I took this pill for only one cycle. I was so constipated for almost a month I just couldn't take it anymore. I even tried to "move things along" a bit by taking fiber supplements, but it only served to make me more bloated than before. Don't take this pill. It has terrible side effects.

A FREIND TOLD ME ABOUT YASMIN AND SHE LOVES IT. I JUST GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL FOR A RUPTURED CYST. I AM LOOKING FOR A BC PILL TO REGULATE MY PERIOD AND HELP PREVENT CYSTS. AFTER READING SOME OF THE ENTRIES IN THIS FORUM, I HAVE TO ADMIT I'M TERRIFIED OF TRYING THIS PILL. I GO TO THE GYN TUESDAY TO GET ON A BCP, I'M JUST GONNA LET MY GYN DECIDE WHICH ONE WILL SUIT ME BEST, AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!! IF IT'S YASMIN, I'LL LET YA KNOW

I've just finished my second pack of Yasmin after having a one-year break from B.C pills. Stopping taking the last brand (which I dont know the international name of) sadly made my (mild) acne came back again after being free from it for several years. I´ve been off that for a year now and my gynecologist recommended yasmin instead when I wanted to go back.
After starting taking it I experienced an increase in pimples on my back, but I had no other bad side effects. My two last periods have been free from pain and mood-swings and lasted just a couple of days, which is a big difference from what I experienced in the last year. I will stick with these pills, even though Im concerned with all the bad experiences people have had, since I think adjustment problems will arise the first months regardless of brand.

i went on yasmin two weeks ago and it was a really rough start. i felt nautious. really BAD mood swings. i keep yelling at people for no reason. i broke down and started crying so bad till i thought i was gonna suffocate. i had to take a relaxing pill to calm me down and i didn't know what it was from. aslo i feel bloated and constipated at the same time. i feel like i am getting fatter by the second and i can't stop thinking about food. i keep having big cravings for junk food. i will just finish the pack and see what happens.

I am 22 years old and I have been on this pill for almost a year. I went to the doctor today and my blood pressure has gone up to 150/112! This is not normal for a healthy female at my age. This pill is pure poison if you ask me. I have had nothing but negative effects from this stuff. I also gained 25 pounds in 3 months after starting this pill. I am a very healthy person and I was in very good shape before starting this pill. I have also suffered from severe depression and other mental side effects as well. Please tell as many people as possible not to take this pill. I am afraid of what is happening to my body right now and I'm not sure what will come of this extremely high blood pressure. Stay away from this pill!!!!

I went on Yasmin to clear up some mild acne that I started to have after going off Orthotricyclen. For the first few months in made my acne way worse but I wanted to stick it out to see if it would clear up. After 4 months it did clear up and stayed that way for another 4 but during the 9th month on this pill my face exploded with acne..and I am talking way worse than anything I have ever had before. Along with the acne I also was having night sweats, hot flashes, anxiety and mood swings. I couldn't believe it when it happened because I never got any of that when I started the pill (except for the acne). It all happened after 8 months. I have been off for about three weeks and I am starting to feel better but it has been a rocky road for sure. I would be very weary about this BCP.

I feel like a new person after I STOPPED taking these pills. I took them for 2 months and 1 week. During this time I had horrible migraine headaches, no energy, very bad mood swings, crying jags, muscle pain, dry mouth, bloated stomach, flu like feeling and the worst case of Brain Fog you can imagine!! I threw them in the trash after my best friend told me about this (and other) forums about this stuff.
I stopped taking this poison 4 days ago and already feel better. My body seems to be detoxing, but my MIND is back!!

WEll I have noticed headaches, nausea, tiredness, a little depressed and anxiety.. I told my DR that I suffer from PMDD and he put me on Yasmin, I read these notes and I'm all freaked out now.. What to do?? I have no idea if I should just get off of it. This is week 3. Overall, I feel lighter, my skins fine.. but I guess I started getting anxiety from reading the bullitens.. but I have been depressed for two days.. I hope it goes away! :(: grr
