Did anyone notice increased eye pressure that indicates glaucoma?

My gyno put me on the pill to regulate my period and to minimize acne etc. Yasmin is the worst ever! ive been on it for just over a month and im going back in a few days to be takin off immediatly. ive been moody, irritable, my acne has gotten significantly worse, my cramps were the worst in my eight years of periods and they were for almost three weeks. I am always drowzy and tired and my period has been so thick.

i recommend to anyone to seek alternative birth control- im not even using it for birth control and its making me depressed!

i have been on yasmin for about 2 years i have just decided to come off it. im very emotional, irritable and ratty always feeling down and low. ia hev gained 2 stone since i started it !!!!

Yasmin almost made me end my own life. It gave me the worst anxiety I ahave ever experienced. I could barely leave the house for fear of another panic attack. I was hospitalized and they determined that it was the cause .Also it gave me irritable bowel syndrome temporarily, went away when I got off it. Still dealing with intense anxiety 5 months after quitting it.

I have been on Yasmine now for a little over a month. I usually have a pretty moody PMS and thought it might help in that area. I think I am still the same though. I am not having intercourse with it now but will be in the next 8 months when I get married! It scared me to read about how Yasmine is one of the worst BCP to take on some of your responses. I think I might do some more investigating. I have been way more tired and nausous than what I am used to. I will give it another month and then report back. Thanks for the insight.

I took Yasmin for two and a half months, then decided to come off it because I felt ill all the time and was very moody.I feel much better now. I think the only reason it worked as a birth control pill was by putting me off having sex!

I have been on Yasmin for 1 year and 2 months. It is a wonderfully effective method of birth control. I also took it for acne and after three months I was completely clear. I didn't have any side effects from this pill such as weight gain. I am still happy with it. As long as you take it later in the day or at night after you have had food it should be well worth it. Well, I just started my fourth pack of Yasmin yesterday. I am just hoping that I can get through this one. I was on Alesse before and I had major problems, much like the symptoms that you all talk about with Yasmin. I have been a little more irratable - and the most annoying thing is the break-through bleeding and vaginal infections. I started taking an Acidolphilus pill everyday which has controlled the whole yeast infection thing, and my face and hair looks pretty good, also no weight gain. However, the only reason I'm taking this pill is for birth control -- so yes, it works well for birth control because I've had so much break-through bleeding that I can't have intercourse - very frustrating. this is my second week taking yasmin and I fell terrible! I'm lightheaded, Dizzy, nautious, i have chest pains, I'm also constantly hungry. it's almost midnight and I'm considering heading to the er. it almost feels like a heart attack. I'm also feeling very weak. Please don't take that PILL!!!!
