| Pros | Only on month two so still hopeful. |

| Cons | The worst skin I have ever had consistantly, at least before I had a day with OK skin, since I have been on this it is constant bad skin, only on my cheeks. Very hard to deal with. |
| Bottom line | I will give it another month. It seems like it should get worse before it gets better but we will see. I will not go past 3 months if I am still dealing with this. My skin was not this bad before so it's not worth the wait longer than that. |

| Cons | This pill made me break out like crazy! I have been off for 3 months and I'm still getting zits. I barely had any acne before I started taking Yasmin. It also made me so depressed, I even contemplated suicide. My sex drive was zilch as well. |

| Bottom line | I did well with Yasmin back in 2007-08, but went off of it for 6 months b/c I didn't have insurance. Got back on in May 09, and it's been horrible. On my third pack and still have bad acne. Never had it before- could even sleep in makeup, etc. Now I use prescription face wash/meds and its still horrible. I am not responding to it the same as I did a year ago.. not sure if there are different ingredients or what, but it's horrible. Hot flashes, mood swings, headaches... no bloating or cramping though. I will be switching back to ortho tri next month. |

| Pros | it really cleared up my skin along time ago. I been on this pill about a month and a half. I know exactly when I'm getting my period. No bleeding or stomach cramps. |

| Cons | I am breaking out like crazy! I heard it takes about 3 months for your body to fully adjust to birth control again. I'm always hungry and I rarely feel full. |
| Bottom line | Christy from Raleigh, NC I'm having the same problem as you. I used to be on this pill for about a year and I stopped for a good 4 months and now I'm back on it again and I don't remember if my acne is suppose to get worse before it gets better. I definitely hope so especially since it really cleared up my skin in the past. I'll give this 3 full months if not then I'm definitely going off this. Let me know how it's going for you. |

| Pros | Prevents pregnancy. not been on long enough to tell. kept appetite down, if thats a symptom. |

| Cons | breakout(all under the skin, so bumpy effect), especially forehead and a lot on upper neck, behind ears. Increase facial hair =( not v. noticeable breakout bleeding for the whole first month. |
| Bottom line | Now that I think about it, it really has increased my acne. It may just be during bleeding though... and maybe the pill needs a few months to work. |

| Bottom line | I have only been on this pill for 4x days (afrter being off the pill for over a year? my doctor prescribed this to treat adult acne after a stressful 6 months which had brought it on. I am only going to give it another week as i dont know if i can handle the nausea and wanting to vomit along with stomach pains. I was previously on Dianne 35 of which i didnt suffer from any of these symptoms. |

| Pros | Not pregnant (even though I missed a pill here or there). No weight gain. Greatly helped PMS/PMDD mood swings! Has not decreased my sex drive. |

| Cons | My face started to break out, and I didn't have acne before. Severe leg cramps and breakthrough bleeding that is almost constant. |
| Bottom line | Good for prevention of pregnancy, though that might be because I'm bleeding all the time. I've been on it for 3 mos and am switching soon if the bleeding doesn't stop. |

| Cons | I remember this from the last time I was on Yasmin - it can take awhile for the acne to go away and will often worsen before that. |
| Bottom line | I was on Yasmin for 3 years before getting pregnant and it worked wonders for my adult acne. Now that I am getting back on it, I am remembering that it takes awhile to work. I am on the second pill pack and my acne is TERRIBLE. However, I hold out hope that it will improve soon like it did the last time I was on it. Anyone else with similar experiences? |

| Pros | Cleared skin, lighter perods no weight gain actually lost a few pds on it. |

| Cons | breasts tenderness, nausea for the first 3 months on it. |
| Bottom line | Stopped taking last year because of the potential serious side effects. My acne is really bad now tried other methods going to derm and taking antibiotics and topical creams but it didnt have the same results as i did with yasmin. Yasmin really cleared my skin will go back on it. |
