Pros:didnt get pregnant,no cramps
Cons:horrible moos swings, sore boobs all the time oh worst of all broke out my face and back
Bottom Line:i hate pimples! but thanks to yasmine now i have them on my chin and back i never had pimples before. im still on it but wont be for long

Cons:acne, expensive, bad spotting, gained weight in hips and butt
Bottom Line:Everybody is different. This one didn't work for me

Pros:not pregnant, acne cleared up, bigger boobs, less cramps, regulated schedule, no mood swings, no weight gain
Cons:Minimal nausea, I take the pill at 9pm and wake up at about 6am. I have found that if I take it later than 9pm, that it seems to have not run its course yet when I wake up and I feel nauseous.
Bottom Line:I am 18 years old and a year ago I took Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and hated it. It made me breat out really bad and made me have major mood swings. My doctor then put me on Yasmin, I have been on it for almost 5 months now and I love it. My acne flared up for the first 2-3 months but now it's almost perfectly clear. I have experienced no mood swings like before. I have not gained any weight (thank god). If anything, Yasmin has regulated my weight and I have been consistantly 107 pounds. I would reccommend this pill to anyone, but as always it's different for everyone.

Pros:prevents pregnancy, periods are regular, now has a generic which is cheaper
Cons:bad cramps, mood swings, headache, backache
Bottom Line:No side effects other than the normal PMS stuff and is very affordable

Pros:Birth Control, clear skin
Cons:increased appetite causing weight gain.
Bottom Line:Came off to give myself a break after almost 7 years of taking! Good God my skin is attrocious and my hair is so oily. I'm getting back on ASAP!!!

Pros:clears skin for the most part, minimal side effects (compared to other B.Cs), haven't gotten pregnant, regulates periods, comes in a pretty purple pack :)
Cons:BAD cramps and headaches, doesn't seem to help too much with PMS symptoms, having to take a pill every day sucks, and continually skipping the white pills to not have a period - you will still bleed and get it anyways!
Bottom Line:I've been on this pill since I was 15 and have been wanting to switch because it doesn't help me much with PMS symptoms, i still get pretty bad cramps and reallyyy bad menstrual headaches. but after reviewing different kinds of birth control online for the past 2 hours, I think this is the best stuff out there. I tried Microgestin FE for a week and it turned me PSYCHOTIC - uncontrollable crying, bitching out friends/boyfriend/family members, extreme depression - but after reading reviews basically any pill can do that to you. fortunately, this is the one that turns me the LEAST psychotic, so i'll stick with it for awhile until i maybe try Yaz instead! :)

Pros:Prevents pregnancy, my acne is completely cleared! No moodiness, no cramps, and it regulates my period
Cons:The same as other pills - you have to remember to take it every day.
Bottom Line:My skin is completely cleared, I don't wear makeup on my face any more at all. I am in control of my period (timing), I have not gained weight (mind you, I did join a gym at the same time!), and discharge is not as extreme as it was before. I love this product. The best part is that when I forget to take a pill before bed one night, I can take it in the morning with little side-effects to being late.

Pros:none to light period..
Cons:Acne on head, face, thighs, lower abdomon pain,sick to my stomach, depression, sadness, anger, emotional, low to now sex drive, weight gain
Bottom Line:My uterous is now twice the size it should be, and i might have some type of tumors! I go for an ultra sound next week! THIS PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE! Do not let your doctor change your BCP ladies, "if it aint broke, dont fix it"

Pros:Didn't get knocked up. Score.
Cons:I was prescribed this when I was 19 and living in Florida and now 10 years and 5000 miles later, I've gained 40 pounds from it.
Bottom Line:I recently went off because its not healthy to have your body assume you're in a constant state of pregnancy and therefore the ovaries won't release eggs. Take into account that in studies, women on average gained 7-10 pounds a year on Yasmin. I never got acne or weird werewolf-like hair growth and it did the job. Initially I lost about 10 pounds because I'd be so nauseaus after taking it, but oh, that soon ended.

The price started at $25 for me and before I left for Ireland 3 years ago it was $65 a month. The government should be paying me for being responsible and not bringing random children into the world like others.

Cons:I never had acne until I started Yasmin. Now, my acne will never go away, and I have more hair growth on my body.
Bottom Line:DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I AM SERIOUS. This is probably one of the worst birth control pills on the market. It has even been proven in some medical trials to be the CAUSE of acne, NOT PREVENTION. Also, I never had a Urinary Tract Infection before I started this pill. However, I got UTIs almost every month. This birth control pill is NOT WORTH THE PRICE--even if it was free. I had to make an appointment with the physician to find a different birth control pill. If the acne doesn't kill you, then the bladder infections will.
