This is only my 1st month on Yasmin but so far I have noticed a definite reduction in the amount of active acne I have. They say it takes a couple months to see full results so I'm hoping it will clear me 100% soon! Some things I LOVE about this BC pill (I'm 25 and I've tried them ALL), it's the only one that doesn't make me feel sick to my stomach, it also somehow works as an appetite suppresant (unlike every other pill that made me feel hungry all the time) On this pill I'm almost never hungry and then when I start to eat I get full really fast!! Great bonus!! My pants are fitting looser now! So far so good, I feel great, no sickness, no constant hunger, none of the other side effects I hated about other pills. My skin is already significantly clearer after one month as well! Yay for Yasmin!!!

I've been on Yasmin for 1 year. It makes my menstrual longer and make me very irritable. The longer I take Yasmin the more anxiety I experience. I've gone into deep depression and experienced bad anxiety attacks. As a result the doctor put me on an anti-depressant, thinking I was really depressed. I think it is Yasmin so therefore I will discontinue using Yasmin today. It's causing too many other problems for me. Yes, it serves it's purpose but my health is more important to me.

I used an IUD for 10 years and just had it removed. My OBGYN encouraged me to try Yasmin, so I gave it a chance. So far, my complexion has cleared, but I now have unwanted facial hair. The extreme bloting from everything I eat or drink, really hurts me. But drinking tons of water help control the water retention. My weight is unchanged, however I am happy about this. And I am very happy with the increase sex drive. I hope after 3 months my body will regulate.

I was on Yasmin for over 3 years- 7 months ago i got off of it and within a month I began breaking out around my jawline/chin. After two months the course of my acne changed and moved all over my face. I waited it out for 3 months thinking that my body was adjusting- but the breakouts just got worse and turned into cystic acne. I had no choice but to go back on yasmin- I am almost dont with my second pack of pills and i havent seen any results yet. I do know that prior to taking yasmin I never broke out. However, yasmin has been the only pill to suit my body... I just hope my skin clears up asap!

I've been taking Yasmin for about 2 months now and it hasn't cleared my acne at all. I still have a million pimples and now I get like monster zits on my chin, when I usually just get regular ones. Yasmine just made me lose a few pounds. I don't know what to do, but I think I'm going to start taking Ortho TriCyclen.

I've had breakouts before takign yasmin, and afterwards, so its not much of a change on the acne scale, but my sex drive has stayed the same as well. However, I have had depression and somewhat of heavy anxiety about things-- its altered me more mentally than anything else. On the other hand, as logn as it's doing it's job-- there are no complaints ::knock on wood::

I am surprised to see how many unsatisfatory results yasmin has given too so many women. Yasmin was recommended to me by my gynocologist approximately one year ago, after given birth to twins. I gained 100 pounds and developed real bad acne. I love the pill for the clearer skin and help in weight reduction, however I do get fatigue, nauseous, and have slower sex drive. I have tried several pills and this is the only one that works best for me. I suggest to try a few pills suggested by your gynocologist and see which is best for you. Good luck girls and thx for your comments!

I had great hope for Yasmin...but it' left me with a bloated gut, a raging apetite, & lowered my sex drive! It did make my hair & skin nice...but the weight gain isn't worth it for me. Good luck.

I have been on this pill for 10 days now and I hate it . I have been bloated nautious, dizzy, i have gotten more zits, i have vomitted, and now i feel like i'm pregnant!!!
Leave that pill alone! it's a mess it too strong and has too many side effects. i do not recommend it. try something lighter. if you read the side effect on it you will change your mind about it trust me ,YASMIN is nothing but CRAP and POISON!!

Yasmin works well to stop water retention and breast tenderness. However - I have been incredible depressed and irritable for the three months that I've been on it.
