Pros: No weight gain Cons: Bad break outson my cheeks only, first week. Bit moody. Bottom Line: I hear that your skin clears up after the first 3months, so I'm hopeful that it will because I can't stand these big painful zits. It makes me feel moody, and ugly. Pros: Improved my skin after getting worse for the first month or so, only one real side effect. Cons: Complete sex drive killer. No libido whatsoever :( Bottom Line: I've been on this a cuple of months now and was pleased about my skin but i'm going to have to change because i want my sex drive back!!! Pros: Regulating Period, Periods much lighter and less painful Cons: Went on this pill for regulating my periods and clearing up my skin. I only use to have a few spots, since going on Yasmin my sking has gotten much worse but i have only been on it one month so i am going to stick with it until the end of month 3. Pros: Yasmin has kept me having short periods and I dont gain weight beause i dont eat alot. Cons: I hate that they have made a generic because I think the brand is better. Im getting blood clots also Bottom Line: I would recommend this product if u dont want a baby. It has stopped me from having any more babies. I just dont like the generic and i have asked the doctor to give me brand but that hasnt worked yet. I have used yasmin for almost 4 years now and my only down fall is the generic. Just recently they came out with a generic for the yasmin. Since i have to use generic now it makes me have cramps and i didnt have cramps taking the yasmin. The doctor had told me that there is a difference between the generic and the brand. My insurance doesnt want to pay for the brand anymore unless the doctor approves it. Pros: makes skin looks pretty, regulates period and keeps my weight stable Cons: >It gave me acne in places I never had it before. >Gave me nausea- BAD. The first pack (3 weeks) was all nausea but after then it was okay. > I definitely had a loss in my sex drive. Which lasted for more than a month. Bottom Line: I use this to regulate my periods and it has done that. I haven't gained weight but it has made me nauseated with a decrease sex drive. And even though I had acne it did clear up in a month or two. But if you need it for regulating your periods, I'd get it. Recommended: Yes Usage: Nicole has used this item for a few months. Pros: Works just grate!!! Making my periods a lot shorter and lighter, decreasing my cramps. Cons: 3 weeks bleeding at the beginning! But now I have my period every 28 days!!! The best!! Pros: Pregnancy prevention Cons: Depression, major acne Breakouts, Weight gain, Bottom Line: I'm on the generic Ocella and have heard others comment that only the Yazmin works well. However, I don't understand how this pill could make my acne worse when it's specifically supposed to lower androgrens. :-( Recommended: No Usage: PCOS has used this item for a few weeks.
