Bottom line This is a great product, and helps with a lot of different problems one might have with the skin. It's a great adition to my daily skin care routine.

I use this in the morning after cleansing face. My face does not need extra moisture in the morning because this product is, at least for my skin, non drying and is great at locking in moisture. In the evening i steam my face with sea salt and water and apply moisture after that. It has been the ONLY thing that has worked for me after years of trying to find the right treatment for me.

And for the smell, it really is not a problem at all. After a few days of using witch hazel, I got used to the smell, and I really don't understand what people are complaining about. If you have problems with your skin that has lasted longer and is more severe than a single pimple, you will ignore the smell because this is such a great product.

Pros Treats Acne, Treats Irritation, Treats Sunburns, Treats Itchy Mosquito Bites, Smells Pretty Good, Shrinks Pores, Removes Leftover Makeup
Cons None so far, you're silly if you complain about the smell. I'm 14, have had acne for almost 6 years, and I have never complained about the smell of a product. If it's goal is to help me, then smell is not a factor, the quality of how well it works is.
Bottom line I had boughten a cheap bottle of witch hazel for the dollar store down the street last year, and used it for a few days. It worked like crap. I stopped using it as a toner, then used it as a spot treatment, still didn't do anything. So, then I washed my face with it. That helped with redness, I guess. I didn't finish that bottle, by the way. Dumped it out.

I had gotten sunburns and bug bites, and my mom suggested witch hazel. I said okay, and picked it up at Wal-Mart for about $1.56. I put it in my moisturizer, my face washes (I have a morning and night one), and I've been using this witch hazel as a toner for the sunburns, bug bites and my acne. It's done wonders. The bites aren't itchy, they're gone. Sunburns are basically gone, and they didn't even peel. And my acne's going down like crazy. This is magical.

I highly recommend this. Do watch for how much witch hazel is it it. Read the "Drug Facts" section on the back of the bottle. If it says there's 86% of witch hazel or higher, you're good to go! (:

Pros Witch Hazel made my pores smaller, helped fight existing acne, got rid of redness and prevented future acne.
Cons The smell is atrocious.

Pros left my skin feeling less oily and soft
Cons it made me breakout
Bottom line my acne has come along way my acne was moderate and now it is light, i was only looking for a product to help my oily skin since its summer. the morning after using this product i broke out all over my jaw line. i have stopped using this product two days ago and already there are less break outs. save your money and don't buy this product.

Some people may not enjoy the smell, but I've become inure to it and it really doesn't bother me. Actually...I kind of like the smell!
Bottom line I've used witch hazel on and off consistently since around December, and every time I go through a bottle, it works wonders.

I've found it VERY helpful for my minor body acne. I've had acne on my chest and back since I was approximately 13. It's the most awful feeling in the world, I know. Mine's not severe in any way; on my chest, I get lots of oil plugs that turn into whiteheads. On my back, I get those sporadic, enormous, extremely painful, inflamed mega-pimples. Witch hazel always seems to do the trick. I take a cotton ball and soak it in witch hazel, then liberally (gently) wipe down my neck, shoulders, chest, and back twice a day, once in the morning, and once after an evening shower. It works for me.

Now, for my face. I don't have bad acne at all, just noting. My skin is super-oily though, so I ALWAYS get oil plugs, whiteheads, and blackheads, with the occasional big, bad pimple on my chin, which I have one right now for the first time in two months :( But anyways, back to the point! :) I usually take pure aloe (from the plant) and wipe it across my face, then once that dries, follow up with a witch-hazel-soaked cotton ball. Note: It does seem really sticky, but the mixture dries and creates a soft sheen. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is always left smooth, glowing, tight, and best of all, pimple-free!

Pros Soothes irritated skin within the course of a few days, evens skin tone, seems to be clearing my skin of acne. Also reduces oil. And it's cheap!
Cons None, so far! Though some people dislike the smell, I think it smells quite a bit like pottery. It sure is a weird smell, but I don't find it unpleasant.
Bottom line I've only been using this product for a few days, but I had a terrible breakout earlier and I've added this new product to my vast amount of acne treatments. It may just be coincidence, but since I started using it, it has helped my skin a lot. My skin feels soothed and my acne is less red.

What I usually do it just take a cotton swab, apply a liberal amount of Witch Hazel to the swab, and lightly dab it all over your face. If you have and particularly stubborn spots, you can also just put a few drops on one separate area.

Bottom line I remember seeing this product or something like it on the Dr.oz show an i decided to give a try one when day when i seen it in my local sotre..I had bad redness an craking skin around my nose area, after a week the redness is bascily totally gone, an the drying dead skin has vanished..The one only thing hasnt really done anything for my acne around the jawline..But deffentlyy reccommed for redness. Deffently try it out!!!

Bottom line I stumbled across a skin care video on Youtube on YESTERDAY and the owner swore by Witch Hazel, for clearing her acne,she was so convincing that I ran right out to the store and got some right away, I used it when I got home and again before bed and when i woke up this morning I was shocked to see how much my faced had cleared after just two uses. I've tried just about every acne fighting system, face wash, mask, even wacky home remedies I've gotten by doing google searches and nothing has worked, I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent over the years battling acne and losing but I think I've found hope in a bottle and now I'm WINNING!
