i have been using vitamin e capsule, i pricked it and used it like that. i have a red red pimple mark which is not disapearing at all with vitamin e. although it does help it go flatter. has anyone tried honey and lemon for red marks?

vitamin e did nothing for me and developed a rash. just made my skin greasy and shiny.

i got a really bad sun burn and used vit E gel and all my scars cleared away, i stopped using it and started breaking out again and from that more scars, i neeeeed to find vit e gel not oil the gel workds wonders for oily skin people like myself.

I decided to try viamin e to fade the dark spots that I got from pimples. I bought a bottle of the oil and applied it to my face.It sucked so bad... it made me break out like crazy. But it's a pretty good moisturizer. I have really dry skin and it helped but at the same time I broke out real bad. I will try taking it orally instead of applying it directly on my skin and see how it works.

I have been Taking 1000mg of Evening Primrose Oil with 10 Mg of Vitamin E a day (RDA is 5mg for VitE) and I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin! I took it for over a month and it faded my scars really well. Although you can still see them, they get lighter every week. Only problem is I ran out of tablets and I broke out really bad a few days later!! Make sure you stock up well!

im 16 and ive been taking the capsules and squeezing the oil out of the pill and its extremely cheap like $1.50, and i noticed scars fade and go away...but i noticed alot is the way it takes the redness away like crazy and makes your skin glow and look so healthy and its very good for aging like getting skin tighter means less wrinkles ...its hard to explain...i use acnefree for my acne...and vitamin e for my scars and redness

I been using vitamin E about 4 days. I see a huge improvment with my skin. I am 22 and have had acne since about 12. After having kids it got worse. I tried everything, but this seems to work. I take vitamin E caplets twice a day and I use Olay with vitamin E and C, makes my face feel so soft and is clearing up the acne . I know that for scars though it takes at least 6 months to see a result. I am gonna take advice though and try the vitamin E oil see if that helps even more.

how long does it take before it starts to work on acne scars? If you know the answer please post it on here. I have several scars on my face and i have been usuing vitamin E for about a week and seen realtively little improvement.... i am discouraged. Will they get better with ling-term use of this product?

I just pop a Vitamine E capsule and use just where needed, I find it much more hygienic that way. I don't apply to the whole face, so I don't know it's effects on Acne in general.
I have tried it on some dry skin in my eye area and on my dry lips, and it works like a charm. No more dry flaky skin.
I apply the Vitamin E just once a day, at bed time and that works for me.
And just a little tip: I've found that Vitamin E differs based on which company you buy from. Sometimes it's really gooey and sticky and other times it's thin and spreadable, sometimes so spreadable you could wear it under make-up and not look crazy! LOL
So don't give up, just look around till you find one that suits you.
