Cheap and it works.
After my roaccutane treatment I still had some redness and some scars, but eating an excess of oranges and other fruits with lots of vit C quickly seen to that.

my skin cleared after taking vitamin b5 for 2 months, but i was still unhappy with my pores, healing time, and redness. i started taking vitamin c about two weeks ago and have noticed a big difference. i don't think it would do much for moderate-severe acne, but for anyone with mild acne or anyone looking to improve skin tone- definitely worth it.

Topical vitamin c does work.. I got ascorbic acid (99.4% purity) from [link removed].. They sell a bunch of cosmetic ingredients.. you probably want to dissolve it in water with some zinc oxide (also good for acne) to rewduce acidity.. apply it at night .. ascorbic acid reacts with the sun.
Or crush some freaking vitamin c pills (ascorbic acid) and mix it with something alkaline to adjust ph.. whatever you do dont pay 90$ for a frekin serum.. rip off .. besides is less effective than your own freshly made serum.. My Dr said it and he is a Phd in Derm.. he also told me to not make my own serum but i did and ive been using it for 3 weeks with nice results.. its been about 10% asc acid 10% zinc oxide rest water.. all eye measured in a little teaspoon..

"Water-Soluble Vitamins"
"Although excessive amounts of these vitamins quickly leave the body (for example, within two hours of taking 1,000 milligrams of vitamin C, 950 milligrams are excreted in the urine), they can sometimes cause adverse effects in the course of their passage through the body."
"Vitamin C"
"If megadoses are abruptly stopped, vitamin C deficiency disease, scurvy, can result because the body has become dependent on the high dose. Vitamin C megadoses can interfere with laboratory tests for blood glucose (making a person appear to be diabetic), uric acid and cholesterol, as well as tests for hidden blood in the stool and blood in the urine. And a recent study at Oregon State University indicated that megadoses (1,500 milligrams a day for 10 weeks) could cause anemia by interfering with a copper-containing protein needed to manufacture new red blood cells."
"Fat-Soluble Vitamins"
"The risk here of megadoses is magnified because these vitamins, A, D, E and K, are stored in the body in fatty tissue and can accumulate to toxic levels if excessive doses are taken chronically. Vitamin A has been the cause of the largest number of vitamin poisoning cases. In rare instances it can be toxic in doses as low as 10 times the amount needed for good nutritional health. The association of this vitamin with cancer prevention in particular has resulted in rampant abuse, although it is taken for a wide variety of reasons by people of all ages."
"A 16-year-old boy who took 50,000 units daily for two and a half years to counter acne developed a stiff neck, dry skin, cracked lips, swelling of the optic nerves and increased pressure in his skull."
----------------------------------------
Take 1 gram (1000mg) of vitamin C daily it will improve your inmune system, acne and will have all the benefits listed below (post below). I wouldnt advice you to take more.. and no we are no f#ckin goats we are people.
Other vitamins and minerals. Dont exagerate, its harmful

Vitamin C has worked great for me against acne, but I do take a lot of it, 5-10 grams per day. but when I drop below about 5 grams, my acne tends to come back. If it seems to you unreasonable to take so much vitamin C, this fact helped ease my mind. Most animals produce their own vitamin C in their body, like we produce insulin or something. But we have to get it in our diet. So in order to find out how much a person should take, we might want to start by looking at how much the animals make. A 70kg (154 lb) goat produces 13,000 mg of vitamin C in his body in one day, can you believe that? And during times of stress, up to 100,000 mg. And mice, when you adjust for human body weight, make between 10,000-12,000mg of vitamin C per day. The recommended daily allowance is like 70mg or something. But that is the bare minimum so you won't get scurvy and die, not the amount required for optimum health. go to [link removed] and look up vitamin C, you can check.
One guy washes his face like crazy, still gets lots of acne. The other guy hardly washes his face at all, but gets nothing. We know it's not the dirt or even the oil in and of itself, but the infection. Though everyone has that sort of bacteria on their face. It's the immune system that seems like the variable. Vitaminc C helps he immune system, and also gets used up in the production of collagen, a structural protein in the body that helps maintain your skin.
OK, so there is my crackpot theory. If you give it a shot, shoot for the 13g per day, and try it for at least a month. But with lower you may be fine, and I usually am fine with 6 or 7g per day.
