| Pros | none |
|---|---|
| Cons | As soon as i started taking it my acne got worse and worse and worse, i took the dam stuff for over a month two! this is the worse my acne has ever been in my life! |
| Bottom line | It seems that it works for some people, I obviously wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of what it did to me. Seriously just go get accutane, that's what im doin today. |

| Pros | Clears Skin, IT WORKS! |
|---|---|
| Cons | nothing |
| Bottom line | This works really well. Ive only suffered from mild cystic acne and felt like I was ruining my skin by using a ton of product on it. B5 clears skin from the inside and now I only wash my face with a mild soap and use moisturizer. My skin is FLAWLESS. love it, and recomend it to everyone i know! |

| Pros | Really works quickly No new breakouts since starting Skin no longer an oil slick |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dehydration as side effect Cracked mouth corners Not available in grocery stores (needed to order online) |
| Bottom line | After 15+ years of battling adult acne, this is the only thing that has worked for me. I saw drastic improvement after only one day of treatment, though I understand some people need longer too see positive results. If you decide to try B5, here is my advice: 1. Just buy whatever generic B5 supplement you can find... those specialty products seem overpriced to me. If you search online vitamin suppliers, you can find 1000 mg pills (less pill popping than with 500 mg pills) 2. Definitely, definitely, definitely take a B-complex supplement too. 3. Drink *lots*of water or you might dehydrate (I did) I would definitely recommend giving B5 a try if you're battling persistent acne. |

| Pros | My skin has never been so clear! |
|---|---|
| Cons | A little pricey |
| Bottom line | I started using B5 about six weeks ago. My skin started to improve within two weeks. I had pretty bad cystic acne before and nothing my Dr. prescribed helped. My acne killed my confidence. I still get a zit or two, but they disappear within a couple of days unlike before when they hung around for weeks. I've tried so many things and this is the only product that's given me anything to write about. I take 15 pills a day and that seems to do the trick. I also use Retin-A at night and 2.5% Benzoyl in the morning. |

| Pros | No acne. Beautiful skin. Being able to live a normal acne free life! |
|---|---|
| Cons | You must keep taking it. And you can have gas and the runs for the first week |
| Bottom line | I'm a 24 year old male who started using this back in 07 when I would have anywhere between 5-10 cystic cysts on my face at a time. No fun at all! I started using 20 pills a day, and within a month, I no longer broke out- but it took a good 6 months for all the old scars and everything to fade away. I cut back on this a couple of months ago, and started to get breakouts again, not as bad, so I upped my dose again to 20-25 pills a day- which is totally safe! I have not broke out once since doing this a month ago. For the past two years, I would have only gotten maybe a zit or two every couple of months, and they were usually gone in two days! You must take this with a B complex. This really is the cure for acne- also, take with zinc for faster healing results! Almost every brand works, just don't get time release- a waste of money! I've been on Accutane twice, and this works much better! Just stick to it, even if you break out initially. Everyone should atleast take the 20 pills a day! |

| Pros | seemed to reduce skin oil? |
|---|---|
| Cons | made me break out MUCH worse than before, made me feel sick. dried out skin and didn't let anything heal. Maybe i didn't try it for long enough, but i don't care-this stuff didn't make me feel right at all. |
| Bottom line | Sounds a little like accutane at first? i dont know cause i haven't been on accutane but my guess is no, they aren't all that similar. No where near the amount of research has been done on b5 as it has been on accutane, so i think accutane might even be safer-hard to tell. Starting at 5 and going up to 10g/ day is so unnatural for your body, and it throws other chemical balances in your body out of wack. ive read good reviews on this (why i went on it) but no matter what they say, i cant imagine megadosing on this stuff is good for you. Save yourself the trouble and don't try it. |

| Pros | Far less skin oil, acne only lasts for less than a day and much smaller |
|---|---|
| Cons | Alot of pills and a little pricey over time |
| Bottom line | I have used B5 for about a month and a half now and i would say that it is a very good short term treatment. My confidence has gone up knowing that I have my acne problem under control. I would however recommend doing the program called 'acne free in 3 days' to cure your acne completely. Google it and i know everyone here will be happy. The bottom line is that this product is good for short term, but there is no miracle cure for acne, read 'acne free in 3 days' and you will not have a problem. |

| Pros | less oily face, less breakouts (although i still get them).. |
|---|---|
| Cons | peeing a lot, a lot of pill swollowing |
| Bottom line | I'm not to sure if this truely worked only because i had lots of other variables added to my acne clearing regiment such as the apple cider vinegar, and drinking lemons, and using retin-a micro. |
