Pros:try using acnezine
Cons:a lttle expensive but well worth it
Bottom Line:its just one pill a day works extremely fast with no side effects and best of all once you've taken it for a few months you can come off of it and you wont have any break outs, unlike vitamin b5 were you have to keep taking it to see the rsults and take stupid amount of pills.

Pros:Cheap,
Works as long as you use it
Cons:Terrible breakouts once you stop
Bottom Line:It works when you completely stick to it. But once you stop using B5 you could end up having acne which would be worse then what you had before starting to take B5. I used it and regret my decision. It was a waste of time and money. So I would advice, why not go for a non brand B5 from some reputable company which you could also find online and more effective. I feel murad would be a better option for non branded vitamin B5.

Pros:...Seems to be something worthwhile to try... The pharmacist said all adults need 5 mg of of b5 a day but to use 500 to 1000 mg is okay as it is water soluble, meaning we will just urinate it out. As well, it takes larger amounts to toxify the body..
Cons:Hopefully it will work as I have been told it is the closest thing to accutane but on a more natural level, of course.
Bottom Line:For those who are still suffering from acne, try to make healthy choices about your diet. As well, go to the health food store and start buying detox sys, ie: liver detox as it can lead to external eruptions and perhaps intaking greens may help i.e: Vital Greens. Also, another must is Silicea Gel and Oil of Oregano. Do some online searches on it and you will see how beneficial it is to our skin and over all health.. I hope this has helped someone out there...All the best...

Pros:less oily skin, slightly smaller pores
Cons:Cost, the possibility of it stop working after 1 or 2 years
Bottom Line:I have mild acne (3 to 5 spots at a time) I took 10g a day for over a month and noticed that my face was producing less oil but i was still getting spots. I also continued with the regimen at the same time. I also read lots of posts from people who have been on this drug for some time and many of them said that after a year or two it just stopped working; sometimes making their acne worst than before they started taking it. This worried me so i have slowly been taking less and less and hope to just take 2g a day.

Pros:Didn't take long for me to see the results. Skin felt less oily, and great reduction in pimples.
Cons:A little pricey, but still worth it to me!
Bottom Line:Bottom line is I had tried other products, and I find that this works the best. I don't mind taking the pills everyday and have had no side effects for the medication at all. I feel more confident and will continue taking them. Just wondering how many pills I will end up taking (this is my third month, so I will have a little trial and error next month).

Pros:Cheap & easy
Cons:Possible side-effects
Bottom Line:Worked very well for me. My advice to anyone with persistent acne is give it a try, however:-
1) I used a non-brand Vitamin B5 bought over the internet from a reputable site. It worked for me. Why waste money on an expensive brand.
2) Ignore all the advice and find your own dosage-level. Start on 1g (two tabs) per day for a couple of days and see what happens. I settled at 2g per day. Two tabs in the morning & two at night.
3) If B5 works for you your skin will be much less greasy and more stable - so adjust your washing regimen accordingly. Do not allow your skin to become too dry. If necessary give up soap & just use hot water to wash your face.
Generally you must ignore everyone except me and find what works for you - unfortunately this can take weeks/months of trial-and-error.

Pros:Noticed that pores were smaller, skin was less oily and less spots. Before B5 i would have five spots at a time and B5 reduced them to 1 at a time.
Cons:Missed one day and had a break out which i have to say worries me. How long will i have to take it for?? Haven't really noticed many side effects apart from a few extra visits to the toilet.
Bottom Line:I started off slowly with just 10g and day then after a week I started 20g a day. I started to see results after 2 weeks but after a month i missed a day and had an outbreak a week after. I'm very scared to stop taking B5 now. I think that you will be taking a risk with this but like with everything there will be one thing that works for you. Maybe this will be it!

Pros:It works, but you have to stick to it.
Cons:If you stop you'll break out big time!!!!!!! Really really bad! And its too expensive..
Bottom Line:I have tried b5 for about months, and then I finally got so sick of taking too many pills, and I stopped taking it. And guess what!!! My skin turned horrible...a lot worse than how it was before I started B5. I so regret taking b5. Waste of money!! But, if you can afford to stick to it..then yeah but I don't know what the side effects will be for long term use. So its your choice. I'd say, look out for other solutions out there. My acne isn't all that bad now, I just simply eliminated oil, sugar and milk from my diet. And I tried to reduce stress. My still get zits here and there. But not too bad. SO MY ADVICE>>> STAY AWAYY FROM B5!!!!!!!!

Pros:I started taking this product about 9 Months ago, and I have not had a single pimple on my skin in months. My skin cleared up the first month, after taking 20 pills a day.
Cons:The product is great, but the marks from previous breakouts can take months to clear.
Bottom Line:If you have acne and want pure clear skin, this is the product for you. I get my Pantothenic Acid from GNC. You should also wash your face with a good benzoyl peroxide the first couple of months. Good luck to everyone, and just be patient with it!
