after 3 weeks of using this product i can honestly say its GREAT!..i have had no side effects, and the results are great i use it in conjuction with coldfusion pack, glycolic and salicilic gel or something or other and benzoyle peroxide. Its great, at the end of the day it is a high dosage yes but if your body needs it it will use it the rest wil be got rid of by peeing it out..it also is great for your hair and nails 2. so it has other benefits 2,,,,i dont think anyone should be put off by the dosage, its been researched. They wouldnt be able to sell it if it caused health problems. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS.

B5 really does work. I can't believe what this stuff has done for me... I have only been taking it for about 2 weeks now but I have seen a huge improvement! I take 5 pills, 4 times a day. 20 pills total. Sounds like a lot but it's not that bad. I have been using Vilantae, which can be found here: [link removed]>
I have also been doing Dan's "Clear Skin Regimen" but only at night. I don't want to walk around during the day with benzoyl peroxide on my face.

I think it is safe to say that B5 has been the root to my sucess with clear skin, but I also think that doing the Clear Skin Regimen at night has helped to speed up the process. I am very happy I found this site and decided to try this stuff.

B5 is simply amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who is suffering with acne!

Well, I was taken the Vilantae B5 vitamins for 2 moths, than I run out of vitamins and I stopped for 1 month. O god!! You can clearly see the difference! My skin was VERY oily during the month that I was not using it. I don't really know if it cleares your acne, but it surely gets rid of the access oil.

I tried vitamin B5 for 2 months;; and I'm now in the stage of giving out. First of all, I really don't feel it's healthy to take 20 capsules a day...but with the hope of clearing out my skin, I had decided to give it a try. Now, I'm really regret.

My pores have tighten within 1-2 weeks, but my acne have changed from little spots over the face to big breakouts in the bottom part of my mouth, face, and over my neck. It even caused cracks in the corner of my mouth...

Personally, I believe that acne problems is not only a problem of the lack of coenzyme A (as mentionned in the vitamin B5 treatment theory). It has to do with hormones imbalance cause by a lot of facts, such as stress, toxins in the body, as well as bad liver and immune system conditions. I recomaend that anyone with acne problems should find out what is the major cause of their hormones imbalance, and find remedies to treat the specific problems. I know that it's not easy to know what exactly cause our acne (since doctors do not know neither, or they gave a bunch of "general anwsers"); but we should keep searching.

Recently, I went to a chinese therapist, who claimed that my liver and stomach are not working properly; and the toxins in my body do not get. This is the major reason why I have acne. I now go to her clinique for a chinese type massage that could help me to detoxify. I'm also searching for good detoxification products that will complement with the treatment. If anyone of you know any good detox or liver health products, please let me know.

Doesn't work for me. I understand that it works wonders for some, but for the rest...too bad. I've had high hopes for this treatment to find something that will work just as well as Dan's Regimen has been doing for me, but I guess this just isn't the case. It did nothing for my acne, popping 20 pills a day (500 mg) is just so inconvenient, and the price will make you empty out your wallet FAST. For those of you who are skeptical, you just might be right.

Just started, hope to see results soon. I did read somewhere online that you should take other B vitamins at a different time because they all compete for the same uptake receptor, thus preventing you from becoming insufficient in other B vitamins.

First of all...

Hello! There are message boards for asking questions people, don't do it at the product review page! Get a clue!

Ahem...Well I'm a longtime B5 user and just wanted to say that B5 works better than anything out there, period. I used NOW brand 500mg capsules for about a year, and now just use a daily time-release tablet for maintainence. I never needed more than 5 grams per day, and my results were very dramatic - going from years of bad acne to perfectly clear skin in about 2 months. None of the topical stuff worked for me (for very long anyways), but with B5 I didn't even need anything else. Only a daily wash and rinse with normal soap, and a multivitamin to balance it out. I recommended it to a friend and she had great results also.

I have had acne for over 15 years in different stages of severity. I am now 35. Since taking vitamin B5 I have noticed an incredible improvement. I no longer get facial breakouts. My back is totally smoothe and clear. I am no longer embarrassed to go to the beach and take off my shirt. Vitamin B5 is a wonderful product. (A little secret to those who claim that this product does not work: you must take 8-10 grams a day! I have read postings when someone claims that the product did not work because they took 2 grams a day. No kidding! While experimenting with the product for over a year, I have found that initially you need 8-10 grams a day for the first 3 months. When you notice improvement gradually reduce the intake to 6-8 grams/day for the next 3 months. Next, reduce intake to 4-6/day grams for the next 3 months). I strongly encourage people to give it a try if they want clear skin.
