I have had acne for over 15 years in different stages of severity. I am now 35. Since taking vitamin B5 I have noticed an incredible improvement. I no longer get facial breakouts. My back is totally smoothe and clear. I am no longer embarrassed to go to the beach and take off my shirt. Vitamin B5 is a wonderful product. (A little secret to those who claim that this product does not work: you must take 8-10 grams a day! I have read postings when someone claims that the product did not work because they took 2 grams a day. No kidding! While experimenting with the product for over a year, I have found that initially you need 8-10 grams a day for the first 3 months. When you notice improvement gradually reduce the intake to 6-8 grams/day for the next 3 months. Next, reduce intake to 4-6/day grams for the next 3 months). I strongly encourage people to give it a try if they want clear skin.

I've taken vitamin B5 for about 4 months. My acne problem is getting better after 3 months of taking it. I seldom have break outs now. The only problem then i am facing is how to get rid of my scar. (I've suffered acne problem for 10 years) Hope vitamin B5 will work for those having the same problem as me.

I have been using Vitamin B5(Patothenic Acid) for two months now. Let me tell you, IT WORKS!!! I was always jealous of people that have clear skin, that I wish I was like them. People here in the Philippines takes care of their skin. That is why most of the people have clear flawless skin. I did everything to clear up my face and nothing works! I used to have pimples, whiteheads, and HUGE acne on the jaw line, cheeks, forehead, and neck. I really had oily skin and my skin was very sensitive to cleansers. I thought I had no hope at all and my self esteem went really low. It was horrible and I didn't even want to go out unless my face was totally cleared up.

I'm currently on my 5th day of taking Vitamin B5. I started with 3 grams on the first day and have steadily increased to 5g. Right now, I am taking 6 grams and trying to build to 10. So far I have noticed a slight improvement in oilyness and my skin has always been EXTREMELY oily and highly prone to breakouts. I've tried many things like proactiv (works), murad (doesnt work).. just topical crap and even had some prescribed derm topical treatments and washes. They all work to treat the effects of acne, and its no where close to as severe, but the oilyness of my skin never ever went away and I always get small breakouts.... so I know it has to be an internal problem. Diet related or whatnot. Hopefully B5 is the answer... I will followup post in 3 weeks - 1 month.

Hi! Ive been taking 10 B5 (500mg) tablets every day for the last 2 months and i can honestly say its a miracle! My skin gradually got better and better and has now been totally clear for 3 weeks. Its also much less oily than it used to be. My skin used to be REALLY oily and id get 2 or 3 new spots per day, which i know maybe doesnt sound like much but each one was HUGE, more like a cyst than a spot and would last over a week and was so painful i couldnt touch my face. I know people are worried about trying it because they're worried about any side effects and the sheer number of tablets you have to take (i was the same before i started!) However, i havent experienced any real side effects at all - slight diorrhea in the beginning but nothing major - and to be honest even if it meant taking 20 or 30 tablets a day id still do it because without acne im a different person, so much more confident and every time i look in the mirror i cant believe its me! I cant believe that after trying so many creams and tablets and spending so much on washes etc the answer was so simple.

Vitamin B5 works for me. I have unbelievably oily skin, its been a problem since puberty and I'm now 40. Now I take 2.0 - 3.5 grams a day and my skin is great. I noticed that certain times of the month I need to up my intake.

Very expensive and i've been overdosing on it for awhile. It didn't help with my ACNE at all!! Also causes diaherrea which is bad. I now use the Vitamin B100 Complex which just has 1 gram of this inculded and it's working great for overall body health. I don't see it helping with Acne though.

after all the good reports, i tried taking b5 regularly for 3 months/4 bottles. to begin with i thought there was hope, but after two months nothing seemed to improve. i increased the dose to 24 pills per day but after 3 months i gave up. apparently if it hasn't worked in 3 months, then you are unlikely to see any further improvement. Acuzine next....

I read the original study by a Hong Kong doctor before recommending it to a relative. Originally, he thought it would be good for weight loss - it wasn't, but they noticed that it worked wonders for the acne. You can google it, it was published in a reputable medical journal.
