I've been using B5 for a week now. I have seen some results, so I will keep at it. Maybe I should take more than 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening, but I heard that there's no point in taking more because it doesn't absorb very well through the stomach lining.

After messing around with tons of different types of acne products and finding minimal results I decided to try Vitamin B5. 2 months into the treatment I was clear and shocked. I would not use anything else. It is cheaper than prescriptions and safer than accutane.

After reading all teh comments, I said to myself, why not giving it a try, you know. So I bought B5 vitamin pills from the vitaminshoppe. I take 4 times 2 pills of 500mg a day in combination with 2 b-complex pills. It worked miracles : from 11 zits (tuesday) to ZERO ( monday), less oily, better skintone. Ofcourse I still have some scars, but they'll fade over time. definitely give it a try.

After 7 years of acne, I tried vitamin B5. It really works. I got rid of 100% acne in 2 months. I still have the scars but they are diapering more every day. I buy by vitamins from [link removed] I think it is pretty cheap. In the first 2 months, I used two bottles a month. Now two bottles are enough for 5 months. I started with 20 pills a day and now I am taking 1 pill a month for maintenance. I will never quit taking B5. I am finally happy with my skin and I gain my self-confidence.

I just started with the third bottle of Vilantae. I've been op the regimen since the beginning of december 2005 and noticed an improvement. However, i didnt get rid of the deep, red and painfull big cysts in my face. After a while (1,5 months on BP) it became much worse! Thats when i started vilantae. It´s almost April now and I´m clear!
In december my acne was severe, but i sticked to the regimen and the vilantae! I was about to stop many many times but stuck to it and now i´m clear! SO STICK TO IT IF YOU START VILANTAE :D At least for two bottles and try to combine it with the regimen! Works wonders for me! :)

This stuff is great. Had an intial breakout, but after that it was smooth sailing, no new breakouts, and only clearing remained.

I am 28 years old and have suffered from moderate to severe acne for over 15 years. After a course on Accutane I was clear for almost six years and then my acne came back with a vengence!! After seeing a dermatologist and being prescribed the usual BP wash and antibiotics I began researching B5. I decided to give it a try and started taking 10 grams/day of the VitaCure brand tablets. Within three months my skin was 99.9% clear!! Like an idiot I stopped taking B5 around Christmas time and my acne is now back worse than ever!! I am a firm believer that B5 works as an effective acne treatment and I have started taking it again. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I get the same results that I got the first time around.

hi,i am 23 yrs old female had mild acne since the age of 14. About 8 months ago i broke out like crazy with cystic acne all over my face. i tried everything except for accutane(not sure if i want to try this drug cuz of the side effects). i came across some articles and forums on panthonic acid(vit b5) sounded interesting so i bought some b5 pills from holland and baretts (500mg tablets for £8 or summin like that). i started with 3 grams per day for 3 days then increased it to 5grams daily. its been 1 week exactly and for some reason i still get big spots but they look clean and not so red and flared up. and also not painful. i can see that my asian fair skin looks much brighter and glowing and less oily. the spots i get now dont last that long and looks like its decrasing. i believe it will take atleast a month to see some results as watever spots that are under my skin are coming out it might put u off but wat the b5 is doing is gettin rid of the spots that waiting to erupt. the only side effect is that i feel tierd and sleepy a lot more, my eyes feel heavy and dry. i get odd headaches but thats because the b5 drys you out, i drink 4 litres of water. i also use victoria principles zinc blemish buster which really helps and soothes the spots drying it out quickly. also guys remember when yo wash your face, just splash warm water then cold water and moisterize in areas where you dont have spot, if you rub moisterizer over your spot and your face your just spreading it. i have an appointment with the a private dermatologist in two days. will see wat happens. i will let you know the progress with b5 in a months time.

I use a topical B-5 Royal Jelly treatment each morning/evening and it has worked great in conjunction with the Septra I take twice a day. I am clear until my period, then a few breakouts. You can find it at [link removed]
