| Cons | I feel a lot of the people writing reviews are plugging it so they can get sales for their products. |

| Bottom line | I was on Vitamin B5 for about a year and even though it did reduce oil it gave me A LOT OF SIDE EFFECTS!!! A lot lighter hair; brittle, fine, falling out hair; strong tingling/buzzing sensation in the left foot; constant tiny muscle twitches in the calves; bloating/stomach discomfort after lunch; intense restless legs at night; some fatigue; sore and swollen tongue; mouth ulcers; tooth impressions down the sides; intermittent diarrhea; a rash of dermatitis round the nose; occasional panic attacks; acne also came back once I stopped taking the pills!!! |

| Pros | Designed for acne, its the cheapest B5 product on the market, it tastes great, includes other essential vitamins. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None, the product cured my acne |
| Bottom line | I've been using SkinB5 for a month and all I can say is "WOW". I've been using B5 for about 2 years, but it was expensive, so I tried SkinB5 and this stuff was far more effective that anything else I've tried. I have ZERO pimples on my face, plus this staff tastes great. Awesome product, THANK YOU!!!! |

| Bottom line | For me Vit B5 has seemed to clear up my forehead near enough to clear, which I think is def some improvement...however, I have uncontrollable acne on my cheeks now and it doesnt seem to stop I never had this amount of acne on my cheeks before, hope soon it will dry out, I dont take the high doses of Vit B5 of 20 tabs a day as for some reason it makes it worse and it lessens as soon as i stop taking a high dose so i stick to 10 caps a day...also I think you should drink at least 1.5 litres of water especially when taking the vit B5 as it helps flush it out better and is good for the skin also. |

| Bottom line | I will never be without this stuff again!!! I had moderate breakouts and tried EVERYTHING I could... even waisted my money on Celibre laser resurfacing. Then I read rave reviews about B5 over the internet so I decided to give it a try. I was amazed. With in a few days I noticed that I wasn't waking up or coming home to new breakouts. Instead my pores shrank and my skin got its healthy radient glow back. I was even more convinced when my friend asked me how my skin is so poreless! I have been taking B5 for 6-7 months now and the results are phenominal. Just an occasional zit here and there... I take anywhere from 5-7 500mg capsules every night before going to bed and it works great. I have had no side effects (and vitamins usually make me sick!) and I noticed my energy level is a lot higher! I got my sister started on it as well as several friends! Do try this and give it some time. I swear it will work! [link removed] sells a large bottle for only $8.99 |

| Pros | clears up skin great |
|---|---|
| Cons | slight hassle |
| Bottom line | This stuff worked well for me- cleared up my acne completely in a couple weeks. But, i didnt realize that it was the B5 that was doin it, because i only took a few pills a day, so i stopped it. THen i broke out again. realizing that it was the miracle B5 that did that, i started taking it again, and have gotten virtually no new break outs since that intial one after the B5- in a week or so ill be completely clear and this time ill stick to the B5. good luck |

| Bottom line | I just started using vitamin B5 three days ago after reading so many positive reviews. Some of them sound so good (although I was suspicious that they might be written by vitamin sellers). I hope not. I have mild acne. My skin is oily around the T-zone. I decided to take 5g a day for the first three days. On the second day in the morning, I noticed a lot of small red pimples on my forehead (about 20). But, as everyone probably read before, it is probably caused by your skin pushing out the already forming ones. I hope that is what it is. Today is the third day, and I have a little bit more of pimples than I had the previous day. I hope this means this vitamin is working. I will come back and leave another review in about a week and tell you guys what happened. (Just look for reviews by Kate from CA, US) |

I tried vilantae for a month and it I didn't really notice any difference in my skin in the first month. I stoped after the first month because it was kind of exspensive, I didnt notice to much of an improvement and It gave me loose bowl movements everyday which is annoying.

I'm on B5 (Vilantae) for 2.5 months now, and my skin is much less oily. It is smoother and healthy looking. It has gone with up and downs though. Sometimes I thought;"Wow, by next month everything will be all right." But then it became worse again, though never worse than when I started using. I intend to take ten grams for three months and then slowly reduce till the right dose for me. I'm really happy this exists! No side effect noticed.

I am a 125 lb middle-aged female and took the full suggested dose. I suffered no serious side effects from the pills -- no stomach aches, etc... I did notice that my bowel movements were a little looser, but it wasn't problem at all. Other than that, taking all those pills every day was a real pain. Had this worked for me, I would have put up with that, but since it did little for me, I am going to ask for my money back.
