| Pros | -Lightened scars after a week of constant use |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Acne is still coming -Not preventing it -Stings,itchy -Smells |
| Bottom line | Well after reading all these reviews on acne.org i thought i'll give a try to this product; i've had body acne for 5 years now it started when i was 12, i always had a flawless face but my body was/is horrible, my chest and shoulder acne is very mild from the start,i just have a few blackheads and scars which are preventing but my bacne is moderate/severe it's not even been one day since i haven't been depressed about my bacne, i've literally spent all my pocket money over these over the counter crap and still can't get rid of my bacne; but i shall not loose this battle and i will fight till i win. I just hope this product works! *fingers crossed tighgly* am so desperate to get rid of it. |

| Pros | Treats AND prevents acne. Makes skin smooth - no more whiteheads or blackheads. No dryness or blotchiness. |
|---|---|
| Cons | The smell, but eventually you come to love it because you know how good it is for your skin. |
| Bottom line | I can't say enough about apple cider vinegar. I live in China, so the good stuff with the mother in it isn't available. I was desperate so I bought the Heinz distilled, pasteurized, and essentially useless (according to most sources) kind at an inflated price because it's imported and that's all they had. I use it as a toner without diluting it all over my face once a day after washing. To my amazement, it actually worked, and is even working on getting rid of a deep pimple that never rose to the surface! I was skeptical because before I found the acv I was using plain old white vinegar (which is even more caustic) and that wasn't helping at all. What is it about the apple cider, I keep asking myself. It's also nearly impossible to find deodorant here in China for some reason, and my boyfriend was complaining of his odor. I suggested he try the acv with a cotton ball on his arm pits, and although he never tries my home remedy suggestions, this time he went for it out of desperation. I expected him to hate it, but he uses it everyday now and says there's no more odor at all (just the acv smell, of course, but for us it's not that bad as long as it's getting rid of the initial problem). We were speculating that by changing the pH balance of your skin, the acv prevents bacteria from growing, which includes the odor causing bacteria that make your armpits smell. It still confuses me as to why the white vinegar wouldn't work just as well, but as long as this keeps on working (and the store keeps importing it), I have nothing but rave reviews for acv. |

| Pros | Affordable, cheap and easy to purchase. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smells really bad! |
| Bottom line | I've used ACV (actually mine is 'Honeygar' which is ACV infused with honey) I've used this product for a month and it hasn't cleared away my acne. I have quite severe acne on my forehead due to my fringe, and ACV has reduced the size of the pimples, but majority is still there. I use it every morning and night and apply it onto my forehead as a toner, hopefully it will clear my acne for good! I'd recommend it to anyone, however, just dont expect miracles to happen as I did. It takes alot of time and patience to see results too, but ofcourse it all depends on the severity of your acne as well. |

| Pros | cheap easy to use apparently quite effective |
|---|---|
| Cons | stank doesn't seem to work on non-inflamed acne, but we'll see |
| Bottom line | i've tried using acv for a month and it had no effect, but i wasn't sure if the brand was organic (the brand is korean). it had 'mother' in it, which is that slimy stuff that looks like snot - so i assumed it was unfiltered. anyways, i recently switched over to "Omega Nutrition" organic acv, unfiltered & unpasteurized. It's only been a day, but it seems to be drying out some of my white heads. i don't have many inflamed pimples, but tonnns of white/blackheads all over, which leave red marks every time they heal. it's been 5 months now and I CAN GET RID OF THEM. gonna try this organic acv and biweekly glycolic peels. hopefully this works out for me. |

| Pros | CLears skin evens tone and gives you a healthy glow~ gets rid of pimples fast |
|---|---|
| Cons | The awful smell ]: |
| Bottom line | I would rather havve the smell daily then have the acne. SO i use it right after putting it on you can see it working and your skin feels clean may get a bit fry but use a non-comedogenic moisturizer and it helps but i also love the healthy glow it gives off after use [: TRY IT!!! |

| Pros | this stuff is nature's gift to us! I drink it daily and use it twice a day as a toner. brown spots started to decrease in color, and whiteheads started to dry out. it doesn't dry out my skin!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | smells like dirty laundry for about one hour after applying, but as long as you put moisturizer or jojoba oil on top of it, it controls the smell to minimum. but still smells. learn to love it!! |
| Bottom line | it detox your intestine when you take it orally, make sure to diluted with water (8oz) or put in a veggie smoothie with honey! ACV is also a natural AHA, it exfoliates and clears up brown spots. AND, as a toner, it is going to balance out your skin's pH level! There is NOTHING possibly wrong with this, other than that it smells. But you know what--- It is much better than BP treatment: it doesn't dry out your skin, it doesn't leave your skin looking dull, and it doesn't give your skin breakouts! it treats WHITEHEADS way better than BP! Love Love LOVE it! |

| Pros | makes skin smoother and clears up acne |
|---|---|
| Cons | the smell :( |
| Bottom line | my dad recommended me to put vinegar on my face years ago when i was younger and i thought he was crazy, but i tried it and i love it. i apply the vinegar to my face once in the morning and night. i use braggs apple cider vinegar because it is organic and probably the best. i recommend this to anyone with acne instead of other over the counter or store bought products. think of it this way: do you think that the companies that make products to get rid of acne actually want to clear your acne? probably not, because if your skin clears up, those companies lose money |
