| Pros: | Helps restore tone and greatly lessens acne |
| Cons: | Just the taste but if you mix it with lemon juice and water it isn't too bad. |
| Bottom Line: | This really helped me a lot. Months ago my skin was red and had lost it's tone, after using apple cider vinegar my tone came back and my acne lessened a lot. I was drinking about a tablespoon a day as well as applying it topically. Use the braggs kind because it is unpasturized and organic and seems to really get into the skin. I had been dealing with acne for about four years and this was the only thing that made a breakthrough. Don't spend tons of money on chemical products that are don't do anything! I have found that using ACV, as well as lerosett swedish clay mask to rid my pores of the left over stuff and tamanu oil for my small scars has my face acne free, all that is left are a few dark spots which the tamanu oil is really taking care of. |

| Pros: | Cheap and it really works. I think it give my skin a nice glow |
| Cons: | Smell and taste |
| Bottom Line: | I have bad side effect using benzoyl peroxide so i can't use Dan's regimen. I managed to found my acne cure in this forum. That's using apple cider vinegar as a drink and a topical. I drink and apply it twice a day. I have done up a blog [link removed] with 20 days of pictures of my acne condition. This treatment is rather tedious but it really works. I have to continue the treatment even after my acne clear up. |

| Pros: | Quick, easy, effective, cheap |
| Cons: | None |
| Bottom Line: | I use pure White Vinegar on my face. While not completely clearing it up it sure as hell works just as well as salycic acid spot treatment cream. I put some in a cup and pour it on both sides of my face. While not fantastic it does the same job as salycic acid if not better. Have only tried this for a couple weeks on and off but it works. I imagine continued use will erase 90% of my acne. |

| Pros: | -WORKS
-Cleared up my skin w/in 1 week
-Haven't broken out in the 3 weeks I've been using it, except for when I got my period and got 1 breakout |
| Cons: | -You have to get used to the smell |
| Bottom Line: | I used it twice a day, as a toner. I'd pour a little bit into a cup, then mix with the same amount of water, and dab it all over my face like a toner, then moisterize. Do this morning and night.
Make SURE you get the ORGANIC kind. It smells better and contains more of the natural ingrediants that aren't filtered out.
I also drank it- which has helped alot too. I drink 2 tsp 3 times a day, mixed with orange juice.
At first, I had 7-8 breakouts on my face at once, within 1 week, existing breakouts cleared, within 3 weeks, all were gone, and red marks are fading slowly.
Definately would recommend it. It's a miracle lol |

| Pros: | made skin look and feel smoother... |
| Cons: | ...at first my face went all red and blotchy...i panicked and put lots of cold water on my skin and some aloe vera...now, after about an hour it's all fine and prettyful :) (however, that may have been down to the aloe) |
| Bottom Line: | try it, but dilute it (to make sure you don't get the same reaction as me)...if you do go red just put something calming on it and wait, it'll even out nicely eventually :)
...i think i'll be using it again, but diluted this time... |

| Pros: | I'll let you know in another week or so, if there are. |
| Cons: | ....it doesn't work? |
| Bottom Line: | Reading all these reviews on here really upsets me; I REALLY REALLY wanted this to work. I went out and bought a small bottle of the Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar, and worked it into my regime as a toner. The claims that in 24 hours you'll have better skin is complete BS, sorry. Me? I got an even WORSE breakout. For awhile, I wasn't really having any new pimples, just old ones and red marks that would NEVER go away. The morning after I started using ACV, i got 5 new pimples all in one area. I now have pretty bad inflammatory acne along my jawline and it seems more red marks scattered about my left cheek.
People tell me "it gets worse before it gets better," and while that doesn't really make ANY sense to me, I'm gritting my teeth and sticking with it for another two weeks or so. Who knows, I may be back eating my words, but I doubt it. I've pretty much given up on the thought of ever having nice skin. |

| Pros: | shrinking and fading my hyperpigmentation
prevented new break outs |
| Cons: | smell, but it doesn't last. I live with my boyfriend and he doesn't even know I use it. |
| Bottom Line: | this seems to be working really well for me so far. I'm 21 and have had acne for about ten years. It started to get really bad when I went to college so I started taking all sorts of antibiotics. I recently stopped taking them because I felt they weren't working anymore, my acne wasn't at its worst, but I was still breaking out. I've been using ACV as a toner for about two weeks and my skin is as clear as its been since i was a kid! It's helping me to fade red marks too, which is what I really want since mine last forever. I get redmarks even when I don't pick at all! Sometimes I use it as a toner and put bio oil on after, which is a really great combination for fading marks for me, but if I put on bio oil too much it makes me break out. |

| Pros: | Diminishes zits fast |
| Cons: | Dries out skin where there are no acne.
Smell |
| Bottom Line: | I had awfully painful cysts on my jawline that popped out of nowhere. They had been there for weeks making me extremely self conscious. I was using acne meds on them but it did nothing but make the area flake. I read somewhere that vinegar works so I tried, having nothing to lose. I applied it directly without diluting it and the pimples started to turn into white-skin lumps. I left it on for a few minutes then washed it off. The next day, most of my cysts disappeared to a few very faint scars. Better than giant red lumps! The ones that were left who significantly reduced and were gone in a few days. I don't recommend applying it all over because it really does dry out skin--don't want to dry out where there aren't any zits! |
